BIOGRAPHY
Jupiter are based in Paris. The boy/girl duo have recently moved there from London where they met on an empty dancefloor. It must have been fate (or their love for retro hits) that brought them together to write songs so deeply rooted in Ames when Prince was sAll known and gliCer wasn't a taboo. Quarles and Amelie are part French (the romance in their music!), part English (the lyrics!) but get along preCy well. Their songwriAng and producAon clearly takes the best of both worlds, earning them appraisal and appreciaAon of the Valerie family. The song "Starlighter" has been geNng a lot of aCenAon in the blogosphere and grew to become a minor hit since it was first leaked. It's catchy, it's dreamy, it's sAcky and it's sweet. Now, aQer official remixes for Metronomy, Anoraak and Chew Lips, Jupiter are preparing their first EP, which is to be released in September 2009, containing remixes by Thai pop sensaAon Cyndi Seui and Steve Moore (aka Lovelock, aka Zombi). Get ready for sheer bliss!
