Letter of Condolence to Paris Bar President Sur re: Attacks in Paris

Dear Monsieur Sur,
The American Bar Association condemns the recent terrorist attacks in Paris. Our thoughts and
sympathies are with the families and friends of the victims of this tragic attack. As lawyers and
judges, we have the utmost respect for the rule of law and understand without it, there will be
chaos. The American Bar Association stands united against terrorism particularly when it is
directed against innocent civilians. We also stand united with our sisters and brothers of the Paris
Bar.
We hope the international community will band together to combat the atrocity of these senseless
terrorist attacks.
