« For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. » (Isaiah 9:6)
Today, we celebrate the good news of our salvation:
the birth of Jesus Christ as one of us, a human being.
God has always shown his love for us in numerous ways:
through the beauty of creation and the love of our families and friends.
Today, he shows that love in a very special way:
From the Parish Staff:
Thank you for your many acts of kindness and your good
wishes. May yours be a Christmas of Love
and good will to all.

Mary, the Holy Mother of God
The Blessed Virgin Mary is the holy Mother of God,
and our spiritual mother.
Today, the Church honors the Blessed Virgin Mary, who
was chosen by God the Father to be the mother of his Son.
As Jesus was both fully human and divine, the Church confesses that Mary is truly “Mother of God” (CCC 495). So
may we join together this day in adoring Mary, who is the
Mother of God and our spiritual mother.
Sainte Marie, Mère de Dieu
Reprendre la route

Mother of God, who is our mother too! At the
beginning of 2017, we pray that Mary, who is the
patroness of Visitation Parish, will intercede for us and
grant us an abundance of God’s love and peace.
