Call-out for Young Italian-Canadian Artist
Montreal, October 23, 2014 – Great News! Casa d’Italia, a non-for-profit
organization, will be curating Canada’s most important Italian-Canadian Art
Exhibition with complete spotlight on Artists 39 years of age and younger from
December 5th – December 14th, 2014!
While being profound admirers of the great Italian Masters, as well as esteem the
experienced, professional Italian immigrant artists who have paved the creative
path for today’s wave of Italian Canadian artists; the time has come to showcase
our proudly emerging, prospering, Young Italian Canadian Artists in an exhibit
that highlights their craft.
Having a resourceful repertoire of Italian-Canadian culture, Casa d’Italia is
focusing on youth and wishes to promote the less-known young artists who
deserve to be brought into the light. As a result, we are announcing to the public
a “Call-Out for Young Italian Canadian artists” to submit an artwork for this
significant exhibition and to educate the public on the future of Italian-Canadian
art!
Application Details:
-­‐ Artist must be 39 years of age or younger
-­‐ Include 1-5 images of the artwork you are submitting
-­‐ Include an Artist Statement between 100-300 words
-­‐ Deadline to apply: Wednesday, November 19th, 2014.
Artists will be contacted with a decision no later than November 24th, 2014.

Annonce pour jeunes artistes italo-canadiens
Montréal, 23 octobre 2014 – Bonne nouvelle! Casa d’Italia, un organisme à but
non lucratif, sera l’hôte de la plus importante exposition d’art italo-canadienne où
les jeunes artistes de 39 ans et moins seront à l’honneur du 5 au 14 décembre
2014!
Tout en étant admirateurs des Grands Maîtres italiens et reconnaissons les
artistes italo-canadiens professionnels de renommée mondiale qui ont ouvert la
voie à cette vague créative pour les artistes d’aujourd’hui, le moment est venu de
présenter ces jeunes artistes avec une exposition qui permettra de faire
découvrir leur art.
Avec l’immense répertoire de culture italo-canadienne, la Casa d’Italia veut se
concentrer sur ces jeunes artistes moins connus qui méritent d’êtres mis en
valeur. Nous lançons un appel aux jeunes artistes italo-canadiens à présenter
une œuvre pour cette exposition importante qui permettra d’éduquer la
population sur le futur de l’art italo-canadien!
Détails pour l’application:
-­‐ Les artistes doivent être âgés de 39 ans ou moins
-­‐ Inclure 1-5 images de l’œuvre que vous désirez soumettre
-­‐ Inclure une déclaration (résumé) de l’artiste entre 100-300 mots
-­‐ Date limite pour l’application: Mercredi 19 novembre 2014
Les artistes retenus seront contactés au plus tard le 24 novembre 2014.
