CONCOURS ( RÉSIDENCE HALLOWEEN )
L’objet du concours « Résidence Halloween » est la décoration des résidences et des
parterres visibles de la rue et situés sur le territoire de la Municipalité de Shannon.
Le concours est organisé par le comité de « Les Sentiers Invisibles à Shannon ».
Le concours est ouvert à tous les habitants de la Municipalité de Shannon. L’appel aux
candidatures se fait via le journal Shannon express distribué dans toutes les boites aux
lettres ainsi que par la diffusion d’annonce sur la télé communautaire de Shannon et par
l’affichage de posters.
La participation au concours passe par l’inscription auprès du comité
organisateur de « Les Sentiers Invisibles à Shannon ». S.V.P déposer votre
inscription au concours à la Municipalité de Shannon (50 St-Patrick
Shannon).
Le concours débute selon les inspirations de chacun et se termine le 27 octobre 2013. Les
juges visiteront les emplacements durant la semaine suivant cette date. Les inscriptions
sont recevables jusqu’au 23 octobre 2013.
Le concours récompensera les occupants des résidences les mieux décorées. Les critères
utilisés pour juger de la qualité des décors sont les suivants :
L’originalité des réalisations;
La diversité des matériaux utilisés;
L’aspect général; et
La difficulté technique.
Le jury est composé de membres ne résidants pas à Shannon et n’ayant aucun lien direct
ou indirect avec les participants au concours.
Sur base des inscriptions reçues dans les délais impartis, les membres du jury
parcourront la Municipalité de Shannon entre le 27 et 30 octobre 2013 afin de visionner les
résidences concernées par le concours et attribueront des points.
Les notations sont réalisées à l’aide du formulaire prévu à cet effet et retourné au comité
organisateur de « Les Sentiers Invisibles à Shannon » au plus tard 16h00 le 30 octobre
2013.
De plus, lors de la soirée de l’halloween, les gens qui déambuleront sur la rue SaintPatrick pourront voter en se basant sur les photos des résidences inscrites. La résidence
ayant obtenue le plus grand nombre de votes se verra attribuer dix points
supplémentaires.

La résidence gagnante du concours sera celle qui aura obtenu le maximum de points
basés sur la somme des points attribués par les différents membres du jury et le vote du
public.
En cas d’ex æquo, c’est la résidence qui a obtenue le plus de notes maximales qui
l’emporte. En cas de nouvelle égalité, le raisonnement est poursuivi pour les notes
inférieures.
Le prix est remis par la présidente de « Les Sentiers Invisibles à Shannon » au lendemain
de cette fête soit le 01 novembre 2013.
Les participants acceptent sans réserve le règlement de ce concours ainsi que les
décisions du Jury.
Les participants ayant remporté trois années de suite le prix seront classés hors
concours.

COMPETITION (RESIDENCE HALLOWEEN)
The object of the competition " Residence Halloween " is the decoration of residences and
visible flowerbeds of the street and situated on the territory of the Shannon Municipality.
The competition is organized by the committee of " The Invisible Paths to Shannon ".
The competition is opened to all the inhabitants of the Shannon Municipality. The
applications are made via the express newspaper Shannon distributed in all letters boxes
as well as by the broadcasting on the community TV of Shannon and by the display of
posters.
The participation in the competition passes by the registration with the organizing
committee of " The Invisible Paths to Shannon ". Please submit your entry to de
contest to the Municipality of Shannon (50 St-Patrick Shannon).
The competition begins according to the inspirations of each and ends on October 27th,
2013. The judges will visit locations during week according to this date. The registrations
are acceptable until October 21st, 2013.
The competition will reward the occupants of the best decorated residences. The criteria
used to judge the quality of decorations are the following ones:
The originality of the realizations;
The diversity of the used materials;
The general aspect; and
The technical difficulty.
The jury consists of members not resident to Shannon and having no direct or indirect link
with the participants in the competition.
On base of the received registrations within the time limits allowed, the members of the
jury will browse the Municipality between October 27th and 30th, 2013 to view residences
concerned by the competition and will assign points.
The notations are realized by means of the form planned for that purpose and returned to
the organizing committee of " The Invisible Path to Shannon " at the latest 4:00 pm on
October 30th, 2013.
Furthermore, during the evening of the Halloween, people who will roam on the St-Patrick
street can vote by basing itself on the photos of the registered residences. The residence
having obtained most vote will see attributing ten additional points.

The winning residence of the competition will be the one which will have obtained the
maximum of points on base of the sum of points attributed by the various members of the
jury and the vote of the public.
In case of ex æquo, it is the residence which obtained most maximal points which takes it.
In case of new equality, the reasoning is pursued for the lower points.
The prize is put handed by the president of " The Invisible Paths to Shannon " the day
after de party, November 01st, 2013.
The participants accept without reserve the regulation of this competition as well as the
decisions of the Jury.
The participants having taken gained three years running the prize will be classified
outside the competition.
