Cluedo anglais (2 à 6 joueurs)
Préparation du jeu
1. Tirer trois cartes au hasard ; une parmi les armes, une autre parmi les pièces et une dernière parmi les personnages
2. Ces cartes sont rangées dans une enveloppe gardée secrète
3. Le reste des cartes est distribué aux joueurs
4. On lance le dé pour savoir qui commence
Le jeu
1. Tirer une carte « invitation » qui vous donne votre identité pour le jeu
2. Placer le pion à l’endroit où votre nom est inscrit sur le plateau de jeu
3. Lancer le dé. Les pions peuvent se déplacer dans toutes les directions
4. Entrer dans une pièce de la maison
5. Quand vous êtes entrés dans une pièce, vous pouvez déclarer : « Who was it ? It was … » (personne)
« What was it ? It was …” (arme)
“Where was it ? It was in …” (lieu)
Pour accuser, vous ne pouvez proposer que la pièce dans laquelle vous vous trouvez !
6. Si les autres joueurs ont en leur possession une des cartes que vous avez mentionnées, ils doivent vous la montrer et vous prenez des notes sur
votre fiche « detective’s notes »
7. Lorsque vous pensez connaître les cartes qui sont cachées dans l’enveloppe, vous pouvez annoncer votre accusation en trois parties :
« Who was it ? It was … » (personne)
« What was it ? It was …” (arme)
“Where was it ? It was in …” (lieu)
8. Dévoilez alors les cartes cachées … vous aviez raison, c’est gagné, dans le cas contraire, c’est perdu !
Le mystère est résolu !
Expressions utiles : Your turn (à toi), Roll the dice (lance le dé), a counter (un pion)

Starting the game
1. Three cards are randomly drawn from the weapons, the rooms, and the persons.
2. These cards are hidden in a secret envelope.
3. These cards must be a person, a weapon, and a room.
4. The rest of the cards is divided evenly between the players.
5. Decide who starts with a roll of the dice.
Playing the game
1. Take an invitation card. You are this person for the game.
2. Take your counter. Put it on the board game where your name is written.
3. Roll the dice. You can move forwards ( ) , backwards (  ), or sideways ( ,,, ).
4. Go to a room.
5. Say a proposition in three parts:
a. Person « Who was it? It was . . . »
b. Weapon « What was it? It was . . . »
c. Room « Where was it? It was in . . . ? »
You can only use the room you are currently in for the proposition.
6. If the other players have the cards you say in the accusation, they must show them to you. You write the cards the other players show you on
your « Detective’s Notes ».
7. Once you are sure of what’s in the secret envelope, you can make an accusation in three parts:
a. Person « Who was it? It was . . . »
b. Weapon « What was it? It was . . . »
c. Room « Where was it? It was in . . . ? »
8. Take the cards out of the secret envelope. If you are wrong, you loose. If you are right, you win!
