Émilie handles litigation, particularly civil and professional liability suits and acts for health care institutions in hospital liability actions.

For ten months in 2009-2010, she served as a Fellow with the InterAmerican Commission on Human Rights of the Organisation of American
States (IACHR, OAS), in Washington, D.C.

She clerked with the Honourable Justice André Rochon of the Québec Court of Appeal in 2008-2009.

She acted as an Assistant Editor-in-Chief of the Revue québécoise de droit international (RQDI) from 2006 to 2009.

She acted in a number of functions for the Department of Legal Sciences
at the Université du Québec à Montréal, including as project manager for the International and Comparative Consumer Law Research Group
(GREDICC), and as Research Assistant to Professors Hugo Cyr and
Vincent Karim from 2007 to 2009.


Émilie was awarded the Brian Tittemore Scholarship for a 10-month fellowship with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights of the
Organisation of American States (IACHR, OAS), in Washington, D.C., in 2009.

She was a member of the winning team in the Charles-Rousseau Public
International Law Moot Competition in 2007.

She also twice (2007 and 2008) won the Scholarship of Excellence in the
Faculty of Political Science and Law of the Université du Québec à Montréal.
