The Essex Deanery of Catholic Cemeteries is having their annual
Cemetery Sunday, September 11th at 1:30pm. This year it will be

Many of our senior parishioners are now residents
in area Nursing Homes and Retirement Homes.
Deacon Larry continues to visit those whose names
have been given at the parish office. If there are
others who may have recently moved to such a
facility, or some who have never been visited,
please contact the office at 519-687-3118.

Although we are all sinners, God’s mercy is boundless,
and he will always seek us out when we become lost.
The message of forgiveness echoes throughout our Scripture
passages today. Although God’s mercy is not always
apparent in the Hebrew Scriptures, it is revealed to all
with the arrival of our Saviour, Jesus. Salvation is for
all who seek it.

Parce qu’il aime d’un grand amour, Dieu pardonne à qui
se repend et l’implore sincèrement. Le pardon n’est pas

Boys and girls, grades 4 and up, are
invited to join the altar server society.
There are 6 training sessions. Training
will be on Wednesdays from 6-7 and
Saturdays from 3 to 4 beginning Saturday
September 17th at 3:00 pm. Serving at the altar is a wonderful way for children to feel part of and become more active
members of our church community.
Filles et garçons, de la 4e année et plus, sont invité(e)s de

Mass of reparation
For children 3 to 7 years of age. Children 8 years and up
can register with parents permission to participate on an
occasional basis.
We are always looking for adult
volunteers to assist once a month. 2 adults are required to
be in the JAM room at all times. Contact Brittany Nelson

On Thursday, September 15, the memorial of Our
Lady of Sorrows, each parish cluster in the
diocese will hold a Mass to pray for the healing
and reconciliation of victims of sexual abuse,
their families and our communities, and for
reparation of the sins of abusers.

As Bishop Fabbro said in his June letter, “We must always be
vigilant, so that the abuse of minors will never happen again…
Policies can do only so much; prayer and atonement
can do so much more.”

d’abus sexuels, leurs familles et nos communautés,
et pour la réparation des péchés des agresseurs.
Comme l’évêque Fabbro a dit dans sa lettre du mois de juin,
« Nous devons toujours être vigilants, pour que l’abus des
mineurs n’arrivera jamais de nouveau... Les politiques ne
peuvent tout faire ; la prière et réparation peuvent
faire bien plus encore. »
Veuillez nous rejoindre ici à l’église de la Visitation
à 19h00, jeudi le 15 septembre pour cette messe spéciale.
