PROJECT ABSTRACT:
SATIN vise à développer des
technologies résultant en un meilleur
contrôle des risques chimiques associés
au revêtement antiadhésif des moules et
une réduction de l’énergie de cuisson.
SATIN aims at developing
technologies resulting in a better control of
the chemical risk associated to non stick
coating of baking pans and in a reduction
of the baking energy.

SATIN PROJECT
SATIN aims at developing solutions
resulting in the production of healthy and
sustainable breads. Main expected
outcomes :
•More durable non stick coating ;
increasing the life cycle of perfluorinated
anti-stick coating.
•A non destructive sensor will be designed
and tested in industry to detect the end of
life of the non stick coating.
•A non destructive sensor to detect the
presence of neoformed compounds in
bread will be designed.
•A low temperature baking process will be
developed to mitigate chemical risk and the
energy demand.
•The evolution of European standards & of
protocols tor the qualification of non stick
coatings will be considered.
•A guide of good practice related to
perfluorinated non stick coating.
