To further sustain and accelerate its growth, NUMECA International is looking for a researcher in computer
science at master or postdoctoral level with strong experience in HPC parallelisation and numerical methods.
The project focus on the parallelisation on various supercomputer architectures with up to several ten of
thousands cores.
You will be part of the integrated simulation environment team in charge of developing NUMFLO & NUMECA
multiphysics and multi-disciplinary design and optimization software systems.
Mandatory technical skills and experience:
● Master’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a strong background in scientific software
development and numerical methods is a minimum asset.
● Specific expertise in area such as parallel HPC computation.
● Natural interest towards software developments and programming and hardware.
● Good experience with C++ languages, in Windows and UNIX operating systems.
● Knowledge in CFD is an asset.
Language skills:
● Fluent English language is a prerequisite for the role.
● Dutch and French are a plus.
You should be highly motivated and dynamic, have good communication and analytical skills, be a stressresistant problem solver, and be a team player able to meet the highest quality standards.
