E-learning : Standards, normes et outils Patrick Hohmeyer Étudiant à la maîtrise Laboratoire GDAC Département d'Informatique Université du Québec à Montréal [email protected] 1 E-learning : Standards et outils Introduction Standards Les organisations importantes Les standards classés par sous-domaines Outils LMS (Learning Management System) LCMS (Learning Content Management System) Authoring Tools 2 E-learning : Introduction Définitions du E-learning "e-learning refers to using electronic applications and processes to learn." www.learnframe.com/aboutelearning/glossary.asp "Education offered using electronic delivery methods such as CD-ROMs, video conferencing, websites and e-mail. 28 E-learning : Outils Exemple d'un LMS : http://moodle.org/course/view.php?id=5 29 E-learning : Outils Learning Content Management System A Learning Content Management System, or LCMS, is an environment where developers can create, store, reuse, manage, and deliver learning content from a central object repository, usually a database. LCMSs generally work with content that is based on a learning object model. These systems usually have good search capabilities, allowing developers to quickly find the text or media needed to build training content. Learning content management systems often strive to achieve a separation of content – which is often tagged in XML – from presentation. This allows many LCMSs to publish to a wide range of formats, platforms, or devices such as print, Web, and even wireless information devices (WID) such as Palm and Windows CE hand-helds, all from the same source material. http://www.brandonhall.com/public/glossary/index.htm 30 E-learning : Outils LMS vs. LCMS (selon Brandon Hall) LMS Primary target users LCMS Provides primary management of... de présentations complexes Nécessite un langage de programmation propre à l'outil Éditeur HTML augmenté Utilisation de plug-ins pour faciliter la création d'objets d'apprentissage Rapid Content Development Tools Similairement aux outils de développement rapide pour les langages de programmation, ces outils permettent de créer des présentations complexes simplement à travers l'interface sans toucher à un langage de programmation.
