Das Centre Marc Bloch sucht im Rahmen des ANR/DFG-Projektes „CLAIMS“ eine/n
wissenschaftliche/n Mitarbeiter/in (Doktorand):

Das Projekt CLAIMS: „(New) Political Representative Claims: A Global View (France, Germany, Brazil, China,
India)“ wird von der französischen Agence Nationale pour la Recherche (ANR) und der Deutschen
Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) finanziert.
Ziel ist es, die Entwicklung verschiedener Ansprüche politischer Repräsentation am Beispiel von fünf Ländern aus
einer historischen und konzeptuellen Perspektive heraus zu vergleichen.
Geleitet wird das Projekt in Frankreich von Prof. Dr. Yves Sintomer und Prof. Dr. Stéphanie Tawa-Lama sowie in
Deutschland von Prof. Dr. Brigitte Geißel und Prof. Dr. Thomas Heberer.
Für die Unterstützung des französischen Teams in den Bereichen Sekretariat und Feldforschung sucht das CMB
(Berlin) zum 1. September 2016 für die Dauer von drei Jahren eine/n wissenschaftliche/n Mitarbeiter/in.
Die Tätigkeit ermöglicht die Beschäftigung mit einer innovativen Thematik im Rahmen eines dynamischen und
internationalen Teams.
Stellenbeschreibung
Vollzeitstelle (38,5 Stunden pro Woche) davon 40% Sekretariats- und 60% Forschungstätigkeit, Vergütung:
1.850,00 € Brutto.
Die Aufgaben umfassen folgende Bereiche:

Projektverwaltung: Veranstaltungsorganisation; Kontaktpflege; Unterstützung bei Satz und Lektorat von
Berichten, Artikeln und Büchern; Dienstreisekostenabrechnung; Buchhaltung; Hilfe bei der Organisation
von Aufenthalten von Gastdozenten; Verwaltung eines Wissenschaftsblogs sowie eines Twitter- und
Facebook-Accounts
Durchführung einer Feldforschung, in der es um den Zusammenhang von Teilhabe und Repräsentation
im Rahmen partizipativer Verfahren geht. Untersuchungsgegenstand sind insbesondere zwei auf
partizipativen Verfahren basierende französische Institutionen (Pariser Bürgerhaushalt und ein
Verfahren, in dem die Mitglieder des Bürgerausschusses per Losverfahren ausgewählt werden) (die im
Rahmen des Postens anfallenden Dienstreisekosten werden erstattet).
Der/die Kandidat/in sollte über folgendes Profil verfügen:

Ein abgeschlossenes Masterstudium
Exzellente Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, gute Französisch- und Deutschkenntnisse
Eine Doppel-Einschreibung für die Promotion an einer deutschen und französischen
Universität/Hochschule ist erwünscht. Als Betreuer auf der französischen Seite fungiert Prof. Dr. Yves
Sintomer.

Allemagne), financent le projet de recherche CLAIMS : « (New) Political Representative Claims: A

Les directeurs de recherche du projet sont Yves Sintomer et Stéphanie Tawa-Lama (France), ainsi que
Brigitte Geissel et Thomas Heberer (Allemagne).
Il s’agit de comparer les évolutions des prétentions à la représentation politique dans 5 pays, tout en
s’appuyant sur une perspective historique et conceptuelle. Dans ce cadre, le CMB recrute un(e)
doctorant(e) sur un profil d’auxiliaire de recherche pour assurer le secrétariat de recherche de l’équipe
française et pour mener une recherche de terrain. La personne choisie profitera de l’insertion dans
une équipe dynamique et plurinationale centrée sur une thématique émergente. Ce poste est pour
une durée de 36 mois à compter du 1er septembre 2016 et sera basé à Berlin.

Secrétariat scientifique du projet : soutien à l’organisation d’événements, suivi des contacts,
aide à la rédaction et à l’édition des rapports, articles et livres, gestion des missions, suivi
comptable, aide aux séjours des professeurs invités, gestion d’un carnet hypothèse et de
comptes twitter et Facebook
Recherche de terrain sur le lien participation/représentation dans des dispositifs participatifs,
incluant nécessairement le budget participatif parisien et un dispositif participatif français
reposant sur la sélection des participants par tirage au sort (un budget est prévu pour les
déplacements - mission/secrétariat recherche)

The researchers supervising the projects are Yves Sintomer and Stéphanie Tawa-Lama (France), as
well as Brigitte Geissel and Thomas Heberer (Germany).
The project aims at comparing how representative claims have evolved in five countries with a
historical and conceptual perspective. For that purpose, the Marc Bloch Center is recruiting a PhD
student as a research assistant providing secretarial services to the French team as well as conducting
fieldwork. The successful candidate will be integrated in a dynamic plurinational team focusing on a
cutting-edge theme.

Job description
The full-time (38.5 h / week) job will be devoted 40% of the time to research secretarial services and
60% of the time to research for a gross salary of 1,850 €. The candidates will be in charge of the
following tasks:

Scientific research services: supporting event organizing, following contacts, assisting
projects, articles and books drafting and editing, managing missions abroad, budget
monitoring, supervising the stay of visiting professors, managing a Hypothese.org academic
blog as well as Twitter and Facebook accounts
Fieldwork research on the connection between participation and representation in
participatory mechanisms including Paris’ participatory budgeting and a French participatory
mechanism relying on selecting participants by lot (trip fees -mission/research secretarial
services- will be covered).
