Location: Reading Auction Centre, Great Knollys Street, Reading, RG1 7HE
Viewing: Friday 12 noon to 4.30 p.m. and Saturday from 8.00 a.m.
Sale begins after sale of general motor vehicles which commences at 11.00 a.m.
Payment deadline: 4.30 p.m. on the Monday following the sale
Collection deadline: 4.30 p.m. on the Tuesday following the sale

To be read in conjunction with our Conditions of Purchase
REGISTRATION: Bidders must register at the Seized Vehicles Auction office and obtain a Seized Vehicles
Auction Buyer’s Number. (Please note that this number will be different from that for any other section of the
Reading General Sale). A photographic form of identification will be required plus a Utility bill or similar. A
refundable deposit of £200 will be required also.
DESCRIPTIONS: All Lots are sold as seen and Buyers must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any
description given in the catalogue or by any other means. All Lots are sold without warranty of any kind.
Buyers are strongly recommended to make a physical inspection of any Lot or Lots before bidding.
BUYER’S PREMIUM: A charge of 15% of the sale price of every Lot, plus VAT, will be payable by all
Buyers.
VALUE ADDED TAX (VAT): VAT at the standard rate (currently 20%) will be charged on the sale price of
those Lots where indicated in the catalogue.
PAYMENT: All Lots are to be paid for in full, including buyers’ premium, by no later than 4.30 p.m. on the
Monday after the sale. Methods of payment are: Cash (subject to proof of identity for sums over the
equivalent of €15,000); Debit card; Credit card (subject to a surcharge of 2% plus VAT). If you are not able
to pay for a vehicle in accordance with these terms then DO NOT BID.
COLLECTION: All Lots are to be collected no later than 4.30 p.m. on the Tuesday following the sale. V5s
will not be issued until vehicles are collected.
Please note – we do not deliver vehicles or arrange delivery and Buyers must be able to remove all vehicles by
the time stated. If you are not in a position to do this then DO NOT BID.
HOURS OF BUSINESS: Monday – Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. for payment at our offices and collection.
