Peter has also acted in significant cases involving shareholder disputes, the oppression remedy, and claims for breach of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements given in the sale of a business. Peter has appeared before the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. In 2004 – 2005, Peter clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada for Mr. Justice Major, and has since appeared as counsel at the Supreme Court on three significant cases, including one of the leading cases on the law of tendering.
