Deloitte security consulting ranked #1 globally based on revenue by Gartner
According to Gartner’s ‘Market Share Analysis: Security Consulting, Worldwide’ 2012 report
published recently, Deloitte was ranked number one globally in security consulting based on
revenue.
Gartner defines the security consulting market as security-specific advisory services to help
companies analyse and improve efficiency of business operations and technology strategies
for security. Security consulting services include security-related business, IT consulting and
security assurance; it excludes security audit work that results in attestation of security
controls.
“Deloitte’s top ranking, based on aggregate global revenue, is particularly noteworthy
because clients spend their money wisely and invest in quality,” said Roland Bastin, Lead
Partner for Security, Privacy and Resiliency at Deloitte Luxembourg.
The security consulting service market grew 5.8% from 2011 to 2012, driven largely by
advanced attacks, incident response and mobile security demands.

Selon le rapport 2012 « Market Share Analysis: Security Consulting, Worldwide » publié
récemment par Gartner, Deloitte a été classé comme numéro un mondial des services de
conseil en sécurité en termes de revenus.
Gartner définit le marché du conseil en sécurité comme l'ensemble des services de conseil
axés sur la sécurité qui visent à aider les sociétés à analyser et à optimiser l'efficacité des
opérations commerciales et des stratégies technologiques de sécurité. Les services de conseil
en sécurité regroupent les activités liées à la sécurité, la consultance en informatique et
l'assurance sécurité et excluent le travail d'audit qui a pour objectif de délivrer des attestations
relatives aux contrôles de sécurité.
« La première place de Deloitte, basée sur les revenus totaux à l'échelle mondiale, est
d'autant plus remarquable que les clients utilisent leur argent à bon escient et investissent

largement soutenu par les attaques graves, à la gestion des incidents et des demandes de
sécurité mobile.

Worldwide“ Berichts von 2012, ist Deloitte, basierend auf dem Umstatz, weltweit die
Nummer 1 im Bereich Security Consulting.
Gartner definiert den Security Consulting Markt als eine spezifische Beratungsdienstleistung,
welche Unternehmen bei der Analyse und Verbesserung der Effizienz ihrer
Geschäftsprozesse und bei technischen Sicherheitsstrategien unterstützt. Security Consulting
umfasst sicherheitsbezogene Geschäftstätigkeiten, IT-Beratung und
Sicherheitsgewährleistung; ausgeschlossen sind Sicherheitsprüfungen, die zum Nachweis von
Sicherheitskontrollen dienen.
