Honorable Secretary-General,
PMI France Chapter is a non-profit association affiliated with PMI (Project Management Institute),
dedicated to the promotion of the profession of project management and to the service of its members.
In my capacity as president of this organization, and in agreement with our board which gave its
approval during its meeting on December 1st, 2015, I am pleased to announce that PMI France
Chapter supports the ten principles of the Global Compact with respect to human rights, labor,
environment and anti-corruption. With this communication, we pledge our advocacy to advance those
principles within our sphere of Influence and shall incorporate them into our activities such as our
approximately 100 annual conferences and workshops that we organize all over France.
We are committed to and shall make the Global Compact and its principles part of the strategy, culture
and core principles of our association in every aspect, including incorporation into the next revision of
our current multi-year business plan (2014-2017) and its future version (2017-2020), and to engaging
in collaborative projects which advance the broader development goals of the United Nations,
particularly the Millennium Development Goals.
We shall make a clear statement of this commitment in multiple communication channels, including
our annual report (which is published on our web site with access to the general public), annual
membership meeting, as well as to our membership at key events and finally to the PMI staff members
in Brussels to whom we report.
We commit to report annually regarding our progress, in accordance with the Global Compact
Communication on Engagement (COE) policy.

PMI France Chapter est une association sans but lucratif affiliée à l’association mondiale PMI (Project
Management Institute), dédiée à la promotion de la profession de gestion de projet et au service de ses
membres.
En tant que président de cette organisation, et en accord avec notre conseil d’administration qui a
approuvé lors de sa réunion du 1 décembre 2015, je suis heureux d’annoncer que PMI France Chapter
soutien les dix principes du ‘Global Compact’ en ce qui concerne les droits de l’Homme, des
travailleurs, de l’environnement et principes contre la corruption. Avec la présente lettre, nous nous
engageons à promouvoir ces principes dans notre sphère d’influence and les allons les incorporer
dans nos activités, telles que la centaine de conférences et ateliers annuelle que nous organisons
partout en France.
Nous sommes engagés à respecter le ‘Global Compact’ et à intégrer ses principes dans notre stratégie,
culture, et principes fondamentaux à tous les égards, y compris inclusion dans la prochaine révision de
notre plan pluriannuel actuel (2014-2017) et de sa prochaine version (2017-2020) et à s’engager à
collaborer avec des projets qui avancent les objectifs plus larges de l’ONU, tels que les ‘Millenium
Development Goals’.
Nous procéderons à une déclaration claire de cet engagement dans de multiples canaux, y compris
notre rapport annuel (publié sur notre site web avec un accès public), assemblée générale de nos
membres, et aussi lors d’événements clés et enfin auprès des employés de PMI à Bruxelles à qui nous
rendons compte de nos activités.
Nous nous engageons à rendre compte annuellement de nos progrès, en accord avec la politique
‘Communication on Engagement’ (COE) du ‘Global Compact’.
