CONCOURS
DE
PHOTOGRAPHIE
A. CONSTITUTION DU DOSSIER
Votre dossier, d’un format maximum de 30 x 40 cm, devra OBLIGATOIREMENT comprendre :
• 10 photographies récentes appartenant ou non à une même série (tirages 30 x 40 cm max.,
noir et blanc ou couleur, avec mention de votre nom au dos).
Tout autre support (CD, diapos...) ne sera pas pris en compte.
• un CV concernant votre formation et vos activités dans la photographie
• 15 lignes maximum rédigée EN ANGLAIS expliquant votre démarche artistique
et le travail soumis pour le concours.
• préciser comment vous avez eu connaissance du concours
(flyers dans votre école, site internet - indiquer l'adresse -, bouche-à-oreille, publicités, etc.).
• NE PAS OUBLIER de joindre à votre candidature un numéro de téléphone
où vous joindre très facilement,un numéro de fax et une adresse e-mail
• une photo d’identité.
B. ENVOI DU DOSSIER
• si vous habitez en France :
joindre une enveloppe ou emballage timbré au format du dossier, portant votre adresse pour son retour.
• pour ceux habitant à l’étranger :
fournir l’emballage nécessaire au retour du dossier avec vos nom et adresse et procéder au paiement
du montant de l’affranchissement du paquet :
> par chèque en euros à l’ordre de l’Association villa Noailles FIAMH,
> par virement, sur le compte de l’association villa Noailles - FIAMH (International Bank Account Number (IBAN) :
FR76 1910 6000 0508 1713 5000 003 Bank Identification Code (BIC) : AGRIFRPP891)
> ou par transporteur* (UPS/DHL/FEDEX ou tout autre transporteur assurant le retour dans le pays de départ)
*L’expéditeur sera tenu de prendre à sa charge les frais de douanes et taxes, en ouvrant un compte chez le transporteur choisi.
Aucun frais de douanes ne sera pris en charge par l’association qui se réserve le droit de refuser le dossier.
Tout dossier doit être envoyé avant le 5 DÉCEMBRE 2007 (le cachet de la poste faisant foi) à :

PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST RULES
A. SUBMISSION
Your file (of a maximum size of 30 x 40 cm) MUST INCLUDE the following :
• 10 recent photos belonging or not to the same series (30 x 40 cm max., black & white or color
with your name written on the back). Prints only (CD, slides... won’t be considered).
• a resume (CV) detailing your qualifications and experience as a photographer.
• a personal statement (15 lines written in english).
• please let us know how did you grow aware of the competition (at school, on a website - mention the address -,
word of mouth, ads, etc.)
• DO NOT FORGET to include a phone number where you can very easily be reached,
a fax number and your e-mail address.
• an identity photo.
B. SENDING
• If you are sending your parcel from France:
you must include a self-addressed and stamped package for the return of your file.
• If you are sending your parcel from abroad:
you must send us a suitable self-addressed package for the return of your file and include the right amount
for the return
> by cheque - in euros - (to the “Association villa Noailles - FIAMH”)
> by bank transfer (on the account of the Association villa Noailles - FIAMH, (International Bank Account
Number (IBAN) : FR76 1910 6000 0508 1713 5000 003 Bank Identification Code (BIC) : AGRIFRPP891
> by carrier* (UPS/DHL/FEDEX or any other carrier, guaranteeing the return to the country of origin).
*Participants are required to pay charges, rights and taxes, as well as customs duties applicable to shipment, by opening
an account with the carrier of their choice. No customs duties will be covered by the Association, reserving the right
to refuse unpaid file shipments.
Every submission should be sent before DECEMBER 5TH 2007 (postmark date) at the following address

INCOMPLETE FILES, WITHOUT THE CORRECT STAMP VALUE
WILL NOT BE SELECTED NOR RETURNED.
The Festival cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss during transport.
de la presse et de la mode se réunira pour effectuer
une sélection des photographes qui seront exposés pour cette nouvelle édition du festival.
Ceux-ci seront avertis par courrier dans le courant
du mois de janvier 2008 (aucune réponse ne sera donnée par téléphone).
Dès lors vous devrez :
• fournir au festival vos documents pour réaliser les tirages d'exposition (frais pris en charge par le festival)
• rencontrer le directeur artistique des expositions et du catalogue
• être à Hyères du jeudi 24 au lundi 28 avril 2008 inclus ;
(les frais d’hébergement et de restauration seront pris en charge par le festival)
NB: Tous les photographes sélectionnés s'engagent à suivre et à respecter le programme
(toute modification pourra intervenir sur simple décision des organisateurs). Les décisions du jury rendues lors
de la sélection et lors du festival sont sans appel. Seuls les photographes n'ayant jamais eu de série importante publiée
dans un magazine "grand public" en France et/ou d’exposition d’importance dans une galerie ou institution culturelle
française peuvent participer au concours.

Le festival est organisé par l’Association villa Noailles FIAMH et financé depuis sa création en 1986 par la ville
d’Hyères-les-Palmiers, et depuis 2003 par la Communauté d’Agglomération Toulon Provence Méditerranée,
avec le soutien de la Direction Régionale des Affaires Culturelles (Ministère de la culture et de la communication),
du Conseil Régional Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur et du Conseil Général du Var.

C. SÉLECTION
Un comité composé de personnalités des mondes de l’art,
C. SELECTION
A committee composed of professionals of the art,
fashion and press fields will meet to select the photographers who will be exhibited for this year.
If your file is selected, you will be notified by mail during January 2008
(no answer will be given by phone).
Then you'll have to :
• supply the Festival with your documents for the preparation of the exhibition prints (paid by the festival)
• meet the art director of the exhibition and catalog
• be present in Hyères from Thursday 24th until Monday April 28th 2008, included ;
all the costs of the hotel and meals will be paid by the organisation for the selected photographers
NB : all selected photographers undertake to follow and respect the program
(which is subject to modifications at any time by the organizers).
Decisions of the jury during the selection and Festival are final.
Submissions will only be accepted from photographers who have not published
in any large-circulation French magazine, and/or had any significant exhibition in France.
