Prepare for an inescapable evolution of the law and the judicial environment in the EC.Indicate efficient tools for the future European
economic operators
CONTENU
As Europe grows and develops as a more concrete entity, the legal terrain is by necessity evolving. While seeking to maintain national
sovereignty, the limitations of national law are being addressed by the development of a supranational system of European law. This
course seeks to build an understanding of the evolving environment in European law and its impact on the business and social
environment for the future
COMPETENCES VISEES
•Prepare for an inescapable evolution of the law and the judicial environment in the EC.
Indicate efficient tools for the future European economic operators
METHODE PEDAGOGIQUE
The total duration of the course is 17.30 hours, shared in 14 lectures (1 hour 1/4 each session).
The students have an on-line duplicated lecture note on the Intranet.
Before attending the each lecture, the students must first study its content and get a good understanding of the mains points and
problems which will be raised during the lecture. In other words, the lecture should be seen as a follow-up of the preparation work
made by every student.
Continuous writing assessment will be decided by the teacher and submitted to the students

OBJECTIFS PEDAGOGIQUES
The goal of the class is to demonstrate how lobbying really works, what lobbyists do, why and how they do it. Further the course is
designed to give you an introduction to developing strategies and methods of dealing with elected and unelected government officials
and government relations professionals.
METHODE PEDAGOGIQUE
Assigned readings, lecture and classroom discussion, guest practitioners, case studies and lobbying issue papers will be utilized as
the course learning tools.

CONTENU
Crosscultural comparisons of management and communications processes. Emphasizes cultural geographic distinctions and
antecedents that affect individual, group, and organizational behavior. May include sociocultural demographics, economics,
technology, political, legal issues, negotiations, and processes of decision making in the international cultural environment.
COMPETENCES VISEES
This course provides students with broad understanding of definition of culture and how it applies to international cultural issues.
METHODE PEDAGOGIQUE
The class consists of lectures, discussions, videos, role playing and other experiential exercises, case analyses, and presentations.
Because the course depends on active learning on the part of students and group interaction among students, it is essential that
students regularly attend class, prepare in advance of the classes, and participate productively.

CONTENU
Businesses today are faced with severe competition. In order to survive and prosper they must envisage different possibilities of
development on the international scene. This course examines several options open to companies emerging from a national to an
international dimension.
The emphasis is put on the financial aspects but concerns the business as a whole therefore the students will have the opportunity of
applying skills they acquired in other programmes such as management, marketing, taxation, culture & communication and of course
English. It complements nicely other courses such as “The EU and Implications for Businesses” and “International Business Law.” It
develops student’s interest in strategic management and in the conception of a company as a whole.
Students will deal with real life contexts in order to bring the whole process together for them.

•Be able to act knowing the necessity for a company to think ahead the analyse future opportunities.
•Be able to choose the right option taking into account all aspects of the business not only financial aspects.

To focus on planning, decision-making, and control by organizations and on the accounting systems that managers have to assist
them in their decisions about resource allocation and performance evaluation.

An intermediate course on management control which furthers the Managerial Accounting course. The focus is on how management

OBJECTIFS PEDAGOGIQUES
The objective of this course is to take an in-depth look at the political, legal, economic, technologic and socio-cultural environments of
Brazil in order to identify business opportunities for launching new products or services.
CONTENU
•Understand the macro-environment of the Brazilian market
•Identify opportunities for marketing new products and services
•Justify one's choice based on PESTEL variables discussed

•Research and evaluate marketing strategies of traditional French multinationals
•At the end of this course, the student will be able to:
•Strengthen team building competences
•Analyze a real international market
•Understand the particularities of the target country’s economic, socio-cultural, technological, politico-legal and competitive

•Develop strategies for segmenting, targeting and positioning products in an international market
•Adapt the marketing mix of products and services to a specific market in an international environment
