•
Inequalities in urban access to water, empirical analysis of the demand for water and sanitation in urban
areas, price elasticity of demand for connection and water consumption. Distributive impact of water tariff
structures. Data analysed are provided by households surveys performed in Manaus, Brazil and Casablanca,
Morocco, completed with municipal water and sanitation utility data, and also household surveys from African
capital cities.

and energy services.
