oday, more than ever, citizens are looking for providers
of public services that take on their social responsibility
seriously and can demonstrate their actions. CEEP, the
European Centre representing Employers and Enterprises
providing Public services, supports enterprises all over
Europe in this important mission to demonstrate and
develop their social and environmental commitment. This
is a mission of the well-known “CEEP-CSR Label”. This label
is a guarantee of responsible behaviour that reassures citizens, public authorities, tendering authorities and other
stakeholders about the behaviour and attitudes of the
awarded enterprises.
This 2012 process was a new challenge for CEEP. We started
this label as a project co-funded by the European Commission and I am pleased that, with the support of CEEP and
national partners, this label could be continued as THE only
European CSR label for Public Services.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped and supported this label to date and all those who have supported this
important initiative.
