1. Place clear nylon washer on handle shank
2. Place "O" ring on handle shank against lever
3. Slide handle shank into handle hole of exterior plate
4. Press snap ring over handle shank with thumb
* "O" ring on handle for exterior plate only
5. Same procedure for handle on interior plate*

1. Installer la rondelle de nylon sur le manchon de la poignée
2. Installer le joint torique sur le manchon de la poignée et contre le levier
3. Insérer le manchon de la poignée dans l'ouverture de la plaque extérieure
4. Enclencher la bague de retenue sur le manchon de la poignée en appuyant
avec le pouce
5. Suivre la même procédure pour installer la poignée sur la plaque intérieure*

1. Assemble at room temperature above 65° F.

2. Place handle on soft cloth to avoid scratching
when pressing snap ring in place
2. Placer la poignée sur un tissus pour éviter d'égratigner la plaque
au moment d'enclencher la bague de retenue.
3. DO NOT use mallet/hammer to snap ring in place

Position the exterior handle assembly into the holes and push the spindle through the door gear.
Handle should point towards the hinge side. Position the interior handle assembly with the spindle.

Cut the cylinder tail for 1 3/4” (45mm) doors.
Place the cylinder tail into the knob slot.

Fasten with two installation screws.
Don't fully tighten yet.

Although some tension is required to activate the mechanism, excessive force should not be required.
- Loosen the installation screws ¼ turn at a time.
- Re-adjust the handle by unscrewing the set screw on one of the handles.

- Installation screws are probably too long, file them down in short steps.

- Lock cylinder tail piece may be too long, it may be pushing against the interior knob.
To release this pressure file the excess length in short steps.
Tighten the set screw only after full assembly
of handle kit on both sides of the door.
Test operation of the handle.
Fully tighten the 2 installation screws and
re-test operation of the handle and knob.

of the door with the supplied screws
