The Council adopted
in the officlal
languages of the Communlties:
amendlng Dlrectlve 80/LO95/EEC and Declsions 80/1O96/EEC
and 82/L8/EEC wlth regard to the duration and the flnanclal means
of measures for the eradicatlon of classical swlne fever. This
amendment extends by one year the duratlon of the Communityrs
- a Declsion
financlal measure, pending the Councilrs declsion on strengthening
the measures to combat the dlsease;
a Declsion amending Directives 641432/EEC and 72/46L/EEC as
regards certain measures relatlng to swlne fever. Thls amendment
strengthens the guarantees requlred in trade to Member States
which have totally eliminated the dlsease in order to prevent its
reintroduction into their territory.

The Council adopted, in the official languages of the
Communities, Regulations on the applicatlon of Declslon No 2/86 of
the EEC-Switzerland/Austria Jolnt Committees - Community transit extending Decisions Nos 2/78 and 2/79 amending the Agreement between
the European Economic Communlty and the Swlss Confederation/Republic
of Austria on the applicatlon of the rules on Community translt.

appointed Mrs N. GOEDHARD as an alternate member of the Commlttee of
the European Social Fund to replace Mrs M. HUIMSCHOTEL, an alternate
member who had reslgned, for the remainder of her term of offlce,

Le nouvel effort de la Commlsslon d'harmonlser les
léglslatlons des Etats membres sur la sècurltè des touets
a été entreprls en octobre 1986 (volr P-83, octobre 1986).

couvre l'ensemble des aspects de la sêcurlté des Jouets à
savolr, non seulement les aspects de la sêcurlté mêcanlque
et physlque et de l'lnflammablllté, mals aussl ceux-cl de

fond, lâ proposltlon de dlrectlve flxe des exlgences
essentlelles de sêcurlté au nlveau du lèglslateur, mals

pour la santê et la sécurltê. La dlrectlve proposêe
prévo I t notamment que I es Etats membres prennent des
mesures pour lnterdlre la fabrlcatlon, l'lmportatlon, lâ
commerclal lsatlon et l'exportatlon des prodults
d'lmltatlons (volr aussl P-75, octobre 1986).
