Career Services & Events Executive/Senior Executive
Mission
The Career Services & Events Executive/Senior Executive is an integral member of the Career
Services Department.
Duties and responsibilities
1. Career Services – Internships and Employer Relations
 Broadcast and communicate internships and career opportunities to students in
collaboration with our campus in France.
 Keep abreast of local employment legislations
 Provide career advisory service to students regarding internships and job placements in
Singapore.
 Provide advice to companies and employers looking for interns and employees.
 Build and maintain network and database of professional contacts, employers and
companies.
 Maintain and keep track of Career Service budget.
 Assist in ESSEC Mentor-Mentees Programme.
 Coordinate room bookings, manage event logistics, reimbursements and expense claims,
source for trainers/vendors, corporate gifts, and door-gifts for events and BBA Field
Experience.
 Other duties and tasks as required.
2. Events Management
 Organize and manage career workshops, professional talks, round-table events, and
networking sessions for students, corporate partners and alumni.
 Organise annual mentoring events: kick-off sessions and training sessions for mentors.
 Manage event invitations and reminders to invited guests and students.
Qualifications/ Skills
• Diploma in any relevant discipline
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain
positive approach under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills
• Ability to contribute both as an individual, and as member of a team
• Excellent presentation, as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, flexible, creative, possesses integrity
