Senior Manager - Business Development
Mission
The Senior Manager for Business Development is responsible for the successful recruitment of
participants in the Asia Pacific region for full time programme. He/She works in collaboration with the
Academic Director, the in-house Marketing Team as well the corporate business development team of
ESSEC Business School to design and develop the recruitment plans for the programme.

Duties and responsibilities
1. Recruiting and Admissions Management
• Recruit targeted applicants for full time programme
• Develop strategies for the recruitment of targeted profile candidates
• Systematically prospect for and convert leads from companies and individuals into sales (B2B
and B2C) by developing strong client relations with senior decision makers and influencers in
target organizations
• Organise and conduct company visits, as well as on-site and off-site information sessions,
open houses, and professional events
• Oversee the admissions and registration process
• Maintain CRM reports on prospective as well as current students
• Solicit and respond to feedback regarding various aspects of the programme
2. Relationship and Alumni Management
• Establish rapport with students to improve satisfaction with the programme
• Build strong relationships with the community and recruit quality students into the programme
• Work in collaboration with alumni network to get support for recruitment

3. Market Intelligence
• Provide research and analysis of other programme offerings
• Collect and analyse market needs in order to make suggestions to the Academic Director for
improvements and/or modifications
• Collect and provide market data for the region concerning accreditation and rankings
• Work in collaboration with marketing team to promote the programme
Requirements

Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum of 8 years of commercial experience with proven revenue growth results
Prior experience in corporate education will be a plus
Experience in working in an international environment
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Results driven and a strong sense of customer orientation
Ability to work autonomously
Willing to travel in the Asia Pacific region
Effective team player
Fluent in English. French would be beneficial
