Rare Mature Rhône November 2013 Tel: 020 3478 7376 Fax: 01737 720165 Email: [email protected] Mature Rhône is notoriously hard to come by, so we are thrilled to offer a very special parcel sourced from some of the very best producers, including some of the finest vintages such as the practically perfect 2000 and 2001 Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve Clos du Caillou. Available only in limited quantities, these highly sought after, rare wines have been stored in a temperature-controlled private cellar since release and all levels are perfect. They are drinking beautifully now and, thinking ahead, would be perfect additions to the festivities this Christmas. To order and for more information about the wines, just email us on [email protected] or call us on +44 (0) 20 3478 7376. Prices are per bottle including VAT. All wines are offered subject to being unsold and to final confirmation. Domaine de Marcoux One of the first Châteauneuf estates to work biodynamically, Domaine de Marcoux has been synonymous with the highest quality for the past 20 years. Regularly receiving the top ratings of the vintage by the international press, Sophie and Catherine Armenier’s wines are always in high demand. The Grenache-based reds are silky and rich with the most exquisite balance that can be appreciated young, although like all good Châteauneuf, they only really begin reaching their peak exposure after five to ten patient years of cellaring. The jewel in the crown is their Châteauneuf du Pape Reserve Clos du Caillou, which is only made in the very best vintages. With a history that dates back to the 15th century, these are sensational, pure expressions of terroir; Chave’s Hermitage Blanc is predominantly sourced from a parcel of century-old Marsanne vines which produce a structured and powerful wine.
