Attestation of co-supervision activities of Dr. Anis Koubâa at LORIA, Nancy University
I undersign, Ye-Qiong SONG, attest that:
- Dr. Anis Koubâa has actively participated to the co-supervision with me the Master project of
Bilel Nefzi (Feb.-July 2006) carried out at LORIA lab (www.loria.fr) in collaboration with
SupCom Tunis and CISTER Research Group IPP-ISEP (Portugal). The work is on the
performance evaluation of the IEEE802.15.4 protocol and the study of the quality of service
issue. Two separate simulation models using NS2 and Opnet have been developed to confirm
the obtained results. A priority mechanism has been introduced for providing QoS. This work
has led to a common publication [Anis06].
- Dr. Anis Koubâa participe to the co-supervision of the PhD work of Jamila Ben Slimane since
2007 which is about the optimal resource allocation (both frequency channels and time slots)
in wireless sensor network MAC protocols and especially in UWB-based technology. The
common work has led to several INRIA research reports and conference publications
[BenSlimane07, 08, 09a, 09b, 09c].
I’d like to add my appreciation for the scientific quality of his expertise, his enthusiasm, his technical
support and his real contributions to these two common projects.
