WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The conference will be a forum for engineers and researchers from industry as well as universities who are dealing with heat treatment
and surface engineering in research, design, production, quality assurance, experiments, or modeling and computer simulation.
LES PARTICIPANTS ATTENDUS
Le Congrès sera un lieu d’échanges, de rencontres pour les professionnels (ingénieurs, industriels, universitaires…) des traitements des
matériaux (traitements thermiques et de l'ingénierie des surfaces) concernés par la recherche, la conception, la production, l'assurance qualité,
l’expérimentation ou par la modélisation et la simulation numérique.
ORGANIZATION
The Congress is organized by the A3TS (Association of Heat Treatment and Surface…) in close cooperation with AIM, ASMET,
ATZK, AWT, SVW/ASTT, VWT and the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering IFHTSE.

(vacuum, heat treatment and surface engineering),
which gathers over 100 exhibitors each year and the A3TS congress.

CALL FOR PAPERS / APPEL À CONFÉRENCES
An abstract of 400 words maximum should be submitted electronically, preferably in Word or as a PDF file (on line registration
on website). The abstract should include the title of the paper, the author’s names, addresses, telephone and e-mail addresses.
Please indicate the author who is going to make the oral presentation and his age (if under 35) at the date of the congress.
Only English language will be used for all the abstracts, papers, posters and oral presentations. An independent jury of experts
will reward the best oral presentation and the three best posters.
La proposition de conférence (résumé de 400 mots maximum) doit être effectuée directement en ligne. Le résumé doit être rédigé
uniquement en anglais et doit inclure le titre de la conférence, le nom de l'auteur, l’adresse, le numéro de tél et le mail. L’orateur devra
indiquer son âge à la date du Congrès. Les conférences seront présentées en anglais.
CALL FOR POSTERS / APPEL À POSTERS
An exhibition of scientific posters will be organized during the conference. The proposals are to be submitted electronically in
the form of a summary of 400 words.
Une session de posters scientifiques et techniques est prévue dans l’organisation du Congrès. Les propositions sont réalisées en ligne
sous forme d’un résumé (400 mots).
TOM BELL YOUNG AUTHOR AWARD
This award honors the authors of a paper of exceptional merit presented at the congress, and covers the travel, accommodation
and conference registration to the next IFHTSE Congress. The award, sponsored by LINDE AG, is only for authors up to the age
of 35 who apply for the award during the abstract submission process.
Ce prix honore les auteurs d'une communication de mérite exceptionnel présentée au congrès et offre les frais de déplacement,
d'hébergement et les frais d’inscription au Congrès IFHTSE de l’année suivante.
Le prix, parrainé par LINDE AG, est réservé aux auteurs âgés de moins de 35 ans.
