appartement milanais ou d’établir un nouveau concept store. Entre les deux, Vincenzo
De Cotiis s’adonne à la réalisation de pièces
expérimentales frôlant l’univers de la sculpture.
STYL E. Formes élémentaires et matériaux de
récupération sont sa glaise pour modeler un
mobilier sophistiqué et futuriste. Les matières
sont brutes mais sont sublimées par une patine
qui leur donne un supplément d’âme.
AC T U. Cette année, il voyage en Asie où l’attendent, entre autres, un boutique-hôtel et de
luxueux appartements à Shenzhen, en Chine.
Il n’oublie pas pour autant son Italie natale et
sa galerie où il expose de nouvelles pièces tout
en reflets métalliques et argentés, éditées sous

BACKGRO UN D. He designs interiors, taking pleasure in the refurbishing of a Milanese apartment or
the development of a new concept store. Between
two décors, Vincenzo De Cotiis also creates furniture, experimental pieces that veer into the realm
of sculpture.
ST Y L E . Elementary forms and reclaimed materials are the building blocks of his sophisticated,
futuristic style. He has a preference for unfinished
surfaces, but embellished with a patina that lends
them an engaging quality.
WHAT’S NEW. This year De Cotiis is traveling to
Asia for projects that include a boutique hotel and
luxury apartments in Shenzhen, China. Back in his
native Italy, his gallery is showing new pieces with
gleaming metallic and silver finishes, produced
