DANS QUELS CAS UTILISER V-Veil UP ?
• Fins de règles ou lorsque le flux est de petite intensité (inférieur à 6 g.)
• Appliquer sans aucun écoulement vos traitements intra-vaginaux.
COMMENT UTILISER V-Veil UP ?
A. Lavez-vous les mains et essuyez-les avec un linge propre.
B. Ouvrez le sachet de V-Veil UP grâce à l’ouverture facile prévue à cet
effet. Jetez le sachet avec les déchets ménagers habituels.
C. Placez vos doigts à l’extrémité de l’applicateur, ou zone de
préhension. Maintenez fermement l’applicateur SANS l’écraser.
D. Appliquez la crème ou le gel ou insérer la capsule dans la cavité qui
est formée par le voile. (C’est cette extrémité qui va être introduite
en premier.)
Ovule: En fonction du diamètre de l’ovule il se peut qu’une grande
partie de celle-ci soit à l’extérieur, cela ne pose aucun problème, mais
soyez très attentive à ne pas le renverser.
Crème ou gel: En fonction de la quantité de Crème ou Gel que vous
devez insérez dans la cavité vaginale, il se peut que la cavité initiale
en soi ne suffise pas, alors il n’y a aucun problème à ce que la
crème ou le gel soit aussi appliqué sur la partie supérieure du
voile.
E. TRES IMPORTANT : Décontractez-vous et choisissez la position qui
vous convient le mieux (assise avec les jambes écartées, debout
avec une jambe relevée ou debout avec les jambes légèrement
fléchies).
Écartez les lèvres situées à l’entrée du vagin et amenez le haut de
V-Veil UP à l’entrée du vagin. Insérez V-Veil UP et son applicateur
doucement. Continuez de pousser doucement V-Veil UP et son
applicateur jusqu’à la zone de préhension. Les ficelles de retrait
doivent pendre librement à l’extérieur du vagin. Voir la coupe
anatomique qui représente le positionnement optimum. (Vous ne
sentez pas V-Veil UP lorsqu’il est bien placé.)
F. ATTENTION : Pour retirer l’applicateur, tirez doucement sur
l’applicateur en prenant soin de ne pas entraîner les ficelles de
retrait. (Cela pourrait arriver en pinçant les ficelles de retraits si vous
écrasez fortement l’applicateur avec vos doigts.) Jetez l’applicateur
avec vos déchets ménagers habituels.
G. En fonction de la taille du vagin et de la façon dont vous avez
introduit le voile Intra Vaginal, il se peut qu’une partie de celui-ci
soit visible.
POUR RETIRER V-Veil UP :
a) Lavez-vous les mains et essuyez-les avec un linge propre.
Décontractez-vous et choisissez la position qui vous convient le mieux
(assise avec les jambes écartées, debout avec une jambe relevée ou
debout avec les jambes fléchies).
b) V-Veil UP se retire facilement en exerçant une traction sur les ficelles
de retrait.
c) Jetez V-Veil UP dans vos ordures ménagères habituelles.
d) Ne surtout pas jetez V-Veil UP dans les toilettes.
RECOMMANDATIONS ET CONSEILS :
• Pour l’application fin de règles, changez V-Veil UP régulièrement.
(4 à 6 heures maximum)
• Le système applicateur du Dispositif Médical ne peux et ne doit pas
rester plus de 60 minutes dans le vagin. (Limité à une application
par jour en fin de règles.)
• V-Veil UP peut être utilisé pendant la nuit : mettez un nouveau
V-Veil UP avant d’aller vous coucher et retirez-le immédiatement
après le lever.
• Utilisez un seul V-Veil UP à la fois.
• Ne pas réutiliser V-Veil UP, même s’il n’est pas imprégné.
• Si vous avez besoin de plus de conseils, parlez-en à votre médecin ou à votre
gynécologue ou à votre pharmacien.
A QUI CE PRODUIT EST-IL FORMELLEMENT INTERDIT ?
Aux femmes ayant :
• de la fièvre ou des symptômes de type grippal même très léger.
• déjà contractés un syndrome du choc toxique.
• une allergie aux matières plastiques avec ses dérivés.
• une allergie au coton.
• moins de 15 ans sans l’accord des parents et ou du corps médical.
• volontairement pas pris connaissance de la notice d’utilisation incluse dans
l’emballage.
LES TESTS PRATIQUÉS SUR V-VEIL-UP :
• La cytotoxicité
• La sensibilisation
• L’irritation vaginale (sur 5 jours en continu)
• La capacité d’absorption du voile (1,4 g)
• La résistance à la rupture du fil de retrait du voile (50 N)

Si l’emballage de V-Veil UP est endommagé, n’utilisez pas
le produit.

INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTES SUR
Le SYNDROME DU CHOC TOXIQUE
Le Syndrome de Choc Toxique (SCT) est une infection rare mais potentiellement très dangereuse. Il peut toucher les enfants, les hommes et les femmes
(qu’elles aient leurs règles ou pas). Il est dû à une toxine produite par une
bactérie (staphylocoques) présente communément dans votre corps.
La moitié des cas de SCT répertoriés à ce jour sont survenus chez des jeunes filles ou des femmes pendant leurs règles. Le syndrome a été associé
à l’utilisation des tampons mais il peut également se déclarer lors des règles
lorsqu’on utilise d’autres moyens de protection (serviettes, protège-slips…).
Le SCT est une infection qui peut être fatale, c’est pourquoi il doit être identifié
très tôt et soigné rapidement. Les symptômes du SCT peuvent apparaître soudainement au cours des règles ou peu de temps après.
Ils peuvent ne pas être tous présents et ne pas apparaître
simultanément: fièvre soudaine, vomissements, diarrhées, maux de gorge, vertiges, évanouissements, douleurs musculaires, éruptions cutanées ressemblant
à un coup de soleil (la peau peut peler quelques jours plus tard). Si vous présentez
ces symptômes, vous devez retirer V-Veil UP, consulter immédiatement votre
médecin ou le médecin le plus proche et lui préciser si vous avez vos règles.
Le SCT peut se produire avec ou sans l’utilisation de V-Veil UP. Si vous avez déjà eu
un SCT, parlez-en à votre médecin avant de réutiliser un V-Veil UP.
Si vous utilisez V-Veil UP de manière adéquate et respectez les recommandations de cette notice, vous diminuez le risque de développer un syndrome
de choc toxique.

A conserver dans un endroit propre et sec, à l’abri de la chaleur.

WHEN CAN V-Veil UP BE USED ?
• At the end of periods or when the flow is of low intensity (less
than 6g).
• Apply your intravaginal treatments with no leakage.
HOW TO USE V-Veil UP ?
A. Wash your hands and dry them with a clean piece of cloth.
B. Open V-Veil UP pack through the intended easy opening area.
Dispose of the used pouch with your normal household waste.
C. Place your fingers at the end of the applicator, the grip area.
Hold firmly the applicator taking care NOT TO flatten it.
D. Apply the cream or gel, or insert the soft capsule in the cavity which is
formed by the sail. (This is the end that will be inserted first.)
Soft Capsule: Depending on the diameter of the soft capsule it some
of it may be outside, it is no problem, but be very careful not to spill it.
Cream or gel: Depending on the amount of cream or gel that you
insert into the vaginal cavity, it is possible that the initial cavity itself is
not enough, there is no problem if the cream or the gel is also applied
to the upper portion of the plate.
E. VERY IMPORTANT : Relax and choose the position which is the
most comfortable for you, sitting with the legs spread, standing
with one leg raised or standing with the legs slightly flexed.
Spread the labia located at the opening of the vagina. Gently insert
V-Veil UP and its applicator. Keep on pushing slowly V-Veil UP
and its applicator until the grip area. The withdrawal strings
must hang freely outside the vagina. You don’t feel V-Veil UP
once it is well placed.
F. CAUTION : To remove the applicator, gently pull the applicator
taking care not to cause the strings withdrawal. (This could
happen by plucking the withdrawal strings if you strongly press
the applicator with your fingers). Discard the applicator with
your normal household waste.
G. Depending on the size of the vagina and how you entered the
veil intra vaginal, it is possible that part of it remains visible.
HOW TO WITHDRAW V-Veil UP ?
a) Wash your hands and dry them with a clean piece of cloth. Relax
and choose the position that suits you (sitting with legs apart,
standing with one leg or standing with legs bent).
b) V-Veil UP can easily be withdrawn when drawing of the withdrawal
strings.
c) Dispose of the used product with your normal household waste.
d) Do not throw V-Veil UP in the toilets.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND ADVICES :
• At the end of your period, change V-Veil UP frequently.
(4 to 6 hours maximum).
• The applicator system of this Medical Device cannot and should not
stay more than 60 minutes in the vagina.
(Limited to one application per day at the end of the period.)
• V-Veil UP can be used during the night: put a new V-Veil UP
before you go to bed and remove it right after you wake up.
• Use only one V-Veil UP at a time.
• Do not reuse V-Veil UP, even if it is not impregnated with bodily
fluids.
• Should you need more advice, ask your doctor or your
gynecologist or your chemist.
TO WHOM IS THIS PRODUCT STRICTLY PROHIBITED ?
To women who:
• have fever or flu-like symptoms, even if these are mild.
• have already suffered from the toxic shock symptom.
• have an allergy to plastics and derivatives.
• have an allergy to cotton.
• are under 15 years, without their parents and medical staff’s consent.
• have not read the instructions included in the packaging.
THE TESTS PERFORMED ON V-VEIL UP :
• Cytotoxicity
• Sensitisation
• Vaginal irritation (over 5 consecutive days)
• The absorption capacity of the veil (1.4 g)
• The resistance of the veil’s removal strings (50 N)
RAW MATERIAL :
• The veil : Non-woven: Polyethylene/polyester-bico
• The applicator : Polyethylene (low density PE-LD)
• The withdrawal strings : Cotton
If V-Veil UP’s package is damaged, do not use the product. If, despite all the care taken by V-Veil Shop Ltd in manufacturing its products, you estimate to be in the presence of
a defective product, do not use it and contact our consumer’s service, or our retailers, indicating precisely the problem you met and the batch number printed on the package.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE TOXIC
SHOCK SYNDROME
The Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a rare but potentially highly dangerous infection. It can occur to children, men and women (having
their periods or not). It is caused by a toxin produced by a bacteria
(Staphilococca) commonly found in human body.
Half of the cases of TSS known to date occurred among women and
teenagers having their monthly periods.
TSS was associated with the use of tampons but it can also occur during the periods when one uses other means of protection (sanitary
pads, panty-liners, ...).
TSS is an infection which can be fatal, this is why it must be identified very early and quickly cured. TSS symptoms can appear suddenly during the periods or a little time afterwards. They might not all
appear simultaneously: sudden fever, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat,
dizziness, fainting, muscle pain, rash that resembles a sunburn (the
skin can peel a few days later). If you show these symptoms, you must
withdraw V-Veil UP, consult your doctor or the nearest available doctor, indicating him that you have your monthly periods.
TSS can happen with or without the use of V-Veil UP. If you already
had a TSS, ask your doctor or your gynecologist, chemist, if you can
use V-Veil UP.
If you use V-Veil UP in an adequate way and respect these recommendations, you decrease the risk to develop a Toxic Shock Syndrom.
STORAGE :
To be stored in clean and dry place, away from heat.
