NIVEAU (ET QUALITÉ) DE VIE ? DÉVELOPPEMENT HUMAIN ?
En Afrique, la Tunisie au premier rang, le Niger au dernier.
Le classement mondial 2014 selon l'IDH (Indice de Développement Humain) a été rendu public par les Nations Unies. Un
classement qui se révèle plutôt encourageant pour la Tunisie qui gagne quelques places et se révèle comme le bon élève du
Maghreb et le 4ème pays le mieux classé d'Afrique.
L'Indice de Développement Humain est un indice statistique créé en 1990 par le Programme des Nations unies pour le
développement. Son objectif est d'établir un aperçu global du niveau de vie des pays en prenant en compte trois principaux
critères: l'espérance de vie à la naissance, le niveau d'éducation, et le niveau de vie. Le chiffre obtenu par ces évaluations
combinées est censé donner une idée de développement du pays. Curieusement, avec ses revenus pétroliers dans les années
passées, la Lybie est encore classée au 55e rang alors que le pays vit dans l'anarchie. Au 90e rang, la Tunisie a le plus haut
classement des pays africains qui vivent normalement et le Niger, au 187e rang. est le dernier.
