La Table Ronde Franco-Allemande
1- Justification du Programme
La Table Ronde Franco-Allemande sur les actifs immatériels est une initiative prise par deux
universités des deux pays – L'Université Paris-Sud et l'Université de Heidelberg – qui ont
décidé de joindre leurs efforts de recherche et d’action, afin de:
- Proposer des développements conceptuels nécessaires dans le domaine ;
- Fournir une plateforme stimulante pour la recherche et l'action pour un progrès entre
les différents acteurs en France et en Allemagne ;
- Contribuer, de façon plus générale, au large dialogue en Europe ainsi qu’au plan
global, sur le rôle des actifs immatériels comme source de création de valeur.
La Table Ronde réunit des chercheurs, des décideurs publics, des dirigeants, des représentants
des médias, des deux pays, intéressés par le partage d’expériences et la coordination des
efforts, en vue de la compréhension de la dynamique des immatériels et leur impact sur la
soutenabilité des sociétés européennes et au-delà.
Le projet traite des questions stratégiques pour les entreprises, ainsi que problèmes de nature
méso ou macroéconomique, en considérant l’importance de lier ces perspectives différentes.
Des questions sociétales telles que la soutenabilité seront intégrées dans l’analyse.
La Table Ronde a été lancée sur la base de deux idées:
- L'importance de lier la recherche à l'action ;
- L'existence d'un fort potentiel d’apprentissage entre différentes communautés des
deux pays.

The Franco–German Round Table
1- The Agenda rationale
The French–German Round Table on intangibles and knowledge assets is a research and
policy initiative by two major universities in the two countries (as well in Europe) – The
University Paris-Sud and Heidelberg University- who decided to join their recent and ongoing research efforts, in order to:
- Come up with conceptual instruments;
- Provide a stimulating platform for research and action for progress among different
stakeholders in France and Germany;
- Contribute, more generally, to the large dialogue in Europe and more globally, on the
role of intangibles in value creation.
The Round table will bring together researchers, policy makers, Executives and Media
from the two countries, who are interested in sharing experiences and coordinating efforts
towards understanding the dynamics of intangibles and their impact on sustainability in
European societies, and beyond.
The project will deal with strategic business issues as well as with meso and macro/societal
issues, taking into account the importance of linking these different perspectives. Societal
issues such as sustainability will be integrated into the analysis.
The Round table has been initiated, based on two ideas:
- The importance of linking research to action;
- The existence of high potential for benchlearning between different targeted
communities in the two countries on intangibles investment and value creation.

La Table Ronde inclut trois conférences :
1- La première à Paris (26 septembre 2011)
2- Une deuxième à Heidelberg (octobre 2012)
3- Une troisième à Paris, le 22 novembre 2013
En parallèle à ces réunions formelles, plusieurs initiatives de recherche et des groupes de
travail peuvent être initiés sous l'égide de la Table Ronde.
Chacune des ces conférrences sera organisée autour de courtes présentations, afin de
stimuler le dialogue entre les participants et partenaires de la Table Ronde.

The Round Table includes three conferences:
1- The first conference in Paris (26 September 2011)
2- A second conference in Heidelberg ( 17 October 2012)
3- A third conference in Paris, (22 November 2013)
In parallel to these formal meetings, several research initiatives and working groups will be
initiated under the umbrella of the Round table
Each of the conferences/workshops is organised around short technical presentations, so as
to stimulate dialogue among participants and partners of the Round Table.
