10. Detailed Description
The glow show produces UV light that interacts with UV sensitive materials. The startling
effect is powerful, encouraging interactive play on a one-to-one or group basis. The range of
UV responsive products can be explored under the UV built-in light.
11. Safety
 Always supervise use of this product.
 This item is not a toy, it is a piece of sensory equipment.
 For indoor use only. Do not leave the item outdoors.
 The Glow Show and included products should not be mouthed.
 Remove all packaging before use and store or dispose of this appropriately.
 Keep and use away from sources of heat e.g. fire, radiators etc.
 Do not look directly at the LED lights.
 Take care when turning the panel round. Whilst we make every effort to round the
edges of the panel, some edges could still be slightly sharp.
 When this product is eventually exhausted, dispose of any unwanted parts
appropriately.

Connect the power supply to the small DC socket on the top right hand side of the
Glow Show. Plug in the power supply at the wall.
Choose which side of the panel (at the rear of the unit) you wish to use. On one side
there is an acrylic mirror; on the reverse there is a black surface. Release the catches
at the top and bottom of the panel and slot the panel into place.
A clip is attached to the top of this panel on the black side. This enables the client to
use craft materials on paper that is held in place under the light and/or display this
work.
The back panel can be removed altogether to create a UV puppet theatre. Try using
with UV puppets you have made yourself.

Use the materials supplied (and your own) to encourage understanding of early
mathematical concepts in a fun and imaginative way – such as shapes and
comparative concepts. Where clients are able, invite them to trace round the stars
with their finger or draw round them with UV markers. Hold and compare the Magic
Rods – discuss which are thinner/thicker. Encourage language development and
colour recognition by discussing the colours seen.
Please note: these are merely suggestions. Please select activities that are
appropriate to your client. The Glow Show may be enjoyed passively or interactively.

The Glow Show will be supplied with the lights permanently on. The unit is switched
on and off at the mains. There is no need to use the switch on the lights themselves.

fluorescents etc., composent cet attrayant ensemble. Eteignez la lumière et le pouvoir
fluorescent sera ainsi mis en valeur. Alimentation : 220 V avec transformateur 12 V.
11. Sûreté
 Il faut toujours surveiller l’usage de ce produit.
 Ce produit n’est pas un jouet – il est un appareil multi-sensoriel.
 Pour l’usage à l’intérieur seulement. Ne pas laisser ce produit à l’extérieur.
 Ne pas introduire les parties constituantes dans la bouche.
 Enlevez tout emballage avant de l’usage, et ou entreposez ou jetez l’emballage de
façon sûr et responsable.
 Gardez et utilisez ce produit hors des sources de chaleur ex. le feu, les appareils de
chauffage etc.
 Ne pas regarder directement aux DEL (lumières).
 Prenez soin quand vous positionnez le panneau. Nous avons arrondi les bords du
panneau, mais ils pourraient être toujours un peu tranchants.
 Quand ce produit soit éventuellement épuisé, débarrassez-vous du produit de façon
convenable.

Connectez la boîte d’alimentation à la petite prise femelle DC en haut à la droite du
Spectacle Fluorescent. Branchez.
Choisir un côté du panneau (à l’arrière de l’unité). Il y a un miroir en acrylique d’un
côté et une surface noire de l’autre. Déclenchez le loqueteau en haut et glissez le
panneau en position.
Il y a une attache sur ce panneau pour qu’on puisse attacher du papier au panneau,
et puis dessiner sous les rayons UV.
On peut détachez le panneau de l’arrière pour créer un théâtre pour les
marionnettes U.V. On peut créer les marionnettes comme projet d’art.

Servez-vous des objets compris (aussi que vos propres objets) pour encourager
l’entente des concepts mathématiques (ex. les formes, les notions comparatives
etc.). On pourrait encourager le développement de langue aussi que la
reconnaissance de couleurs vues.
Prière de noter : ces idées ne sont que les suggestions. Il faut choisir et adapter des
activités selon les exigences de vos clients.

Ce produit est livré avec les lampes allumées. Pour allumer et éteindre, branchez et
débranchez. N’utilisez pas le bouton d’allumage sur les lampes.
