NEW! Free Adult French Classes Start This Month
The Toronto Catholic District School Board’s Adult Education Program is offering French
classes for the first time to eligible adult immigrants starting in February. Classes will be
held at Eglinton LINC and ESL Centre (90 Eglinton avenue East, 2nd floor, Suite 200) on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:30-9:00 pm. Classes are free for eligible adult
immigrants, which include refugee claimants, convention refugees, live-in caregivers,
permanent residents, and Canadian citizens (not born in Canada).

Those who want to register will first need a language assessment at a YMCA Language
Assessment Centre. Call 416-925-5462 (or visit www.ymcagta.org/language) to make an
appointment for your French language assessment. Appointments are now available on
February 20th and February 21st, 2014.

Cours de Langue français pour les Immigrants
commenceront en février!
Le Conseil Catholique d’École de Toronto (TCDSB), programme d’enseignement pour
adultes offre les cours de français aux immigrants âgés 18 ans et plus. Ces cours seront
tenus à « Eglinton LINC and ESL Centre le mardi et le jeudi soir du 18:30h au 21:00h.
Les cours sont gratuits pour les immigrants adultes qui incluent les réclamants de réfugié,
réfugiés de Convention, les aides familiaux résidents, les résidents permanents et les
citoyens canadiens (ne sont pas nés au Canada).
