FILA Skates has revolutionized speed skates. By altering the chassis/shoe fixture, we were able to fit 4 wheels with a 100mm
diameter instead of the traditional 5 x 84mm wheels. And, importantly, we managed to maintain the same ground clearance.
Therefore, while maintaining the same set up, we achieve numerous advantages:
- greater speed thanks to reduced rolling resistance of the larger diameter
- greater distance covered with same energy expenditure in strokes
- greater manoeuvrability thanks to shorter chassis and fewer points of contact with ground

FILA Skates ha rivoluzionato il pattino da velocità. Modificando lo
standard di fissaggio telaio/scarpa, siamo stati in grado di montare
4 ruote da 100mm al posto delle tradizionali 5 da 84mm. Ma,
fondamentale, mantenendo inalterata l’altezza della scarpa dal
terreno. Quindi, a parità di assetto, sono innumerevoli i vantaggi che
si ottengono:
- più velocità grazie alla ridotta resistenza al rotolamento del grande
diametro
- maggiori distanze percorse a parità di energia utilizzata nelle spinte
- maggiore manovrabilità grazie al telaio più corto e i minori punti di
appoggio sul terreno

FILA Skates a révolutionné le patin de vitesse.
En modifiant le standard de fixation châssis/chaussure, nous avons pu
monter 4 roues de 100 mm à la place des 5 roues traditionnelles de
84 mm, tout en conservant cependant la hauteur de la chaussure par
rapport au sol.
Les avantages obtenus, sans aucune différence au niveau de la posture,
sont donc nombreux :
- plus de vitesse grâce à une plus faible résistance au roulement du
grand diamètre
- plus longues distances parcourues sans augmentation de l’énergie
utilisée dans les poussées
- agilité accrue grâce au châssis plus court et à la réduction des points
d’appui au sol

Durch eine Änderung des Standards bei der Befestigung der Schiene
am Schuh waren wir in der Lage, vier 100mm-Rollen statt der
herkömmlichen fünf 84mm-Rollen zu montieren. Von grundlegender
Wichtigkeit dabei ist jedoch, dass die Höhe des Schuhs vom Boden
unverändert ist.
Daher gibt es bei gleicher Bodenhöhe unzählige Vorteile:

Q-FIT CLOSURE SYSTEM
Traditional lace fastening has one
shortcoming: it is not evenly distributed
along the foot. When you pull the laces,
the fastening is much tighter on the instep
but much less tight on the toe. The knot,
moreover, is easily loosened and must be
made again and again.
With the Q-Fit closure system, however,
you can fasten the shoe evenly all along
the foot by simply turning a disc, and the
fastening is stable. It is effective, quick and
easy to use. To undo it, just turn the disc
by 90 degrees in the opposite direction.
MECCANISMO DI CHIUSURA Q-FIT
La chiusura tradizionale con i lacci ha il difetto di non essere omogenea
su tutto il piede. Tirando i lacci, si chiude molto sul collo piede ma molto
meno sulla punta. Il nodo inoltre rilascia un po’ di chiusura e spesso
deve essere rifatto.
Con il sistema di chiusura Q-Fit, semplicemente girando un disco si
chiude in modo omogeneo su tutto il piede e la chiusura è definitiva.
E’ efficace, veloce e facile da usare. E per rilasciare la chiusura, basta
girare il disco in senso contrario di 90 gradi.

MÉCANISME DE FERMETURE Q-FIT
La fermeture traditionnelle par lacets présente le défaut de ne pas être
homogène sur tout le pied. En tirant les lacets, la fermeture est forte
sur le coup de pied mais beaucoup moins sur la pointe. En outre, le
nœud se relâche un peu et souvent il doit être refait pour garantir le
bon serrage.
Grâce au système de fermeture Q-Fit, en tournant tout simplement un
disque la fermeture est homogène sur tout le pied et définitive. Ce
système est efficace, rapide et facile à utiliser. Et pour desserrer la
fermeture, il suffit de tourner le disque en sens inverse de 90 degrés.
Q-FIT VERSCHLUSSMECHANISMUS
Der traditionelle Verschluss mit Schnürsenkeln hat den Nachteil, dass er
nicht gleichmäßig über den ganzen Fuß geht. Werden die Schnürsenkel
gezogen, ist der Verschluss auf dem Spann sehr viel stärker als an der
Spitze. Außerdem gibt der Knoten ein wenig nach und muss ab und zu
neu gebunden werden.
Mit dem Q-Fit Verschluss-System wird durch das einfache Drehen einer
Scheibe der gleichmäßige und endgültige Verschluss für den ganzen
Fuß erreicht. Es ist wirkungsvoll, schnell und benutzerfreundlich. Und
für das Öffnen einfach die Scheibe um 90 Grad in die Gegenrichtung
drehen.
For the first time in the history of in-line skating, an authentic women’s
range has been created. “Authentic” because these are not models
adapted from men’s skates that simply feature different colours, uppers
or, at best, padding of a different thickness or design. Using an actual
woman’s last, specific moulds were created for the shell, cuff and lever.

SoftWearTM technology eliminates the problem of
overlap between upper and liner. The shoe, which
is very soft, is constructed in one piece and offers
a very snug fit. This maximises the comfort and
lightness of the skate. Energy is transmitted more
immediately and the skate is leaner in design, for
an even sleeker look.
Con la tecnologia SoftWearTM si è eliminata la sovrapposizione tra tomaia e scarpetta. La scarpa,
morbida, è costruita in un unico pezzo, aderente al piede. Si massimizza così il comfort e la

Comfort is a combination of several aspects, where
feet temperature plays an important role. During
the skating action, the feet heat up and perspire.
With the FILA “Air Flow” construction, we ensure the
proper ventilation to the feet which cools down the
feet and keeps them dry.
The combination of two light and
breathable meshes — one located on the outside
of the upper and one lining the boot — give the best
ventilation to the skater’s feet. With the “SoftWearTechnologyTM” and “Air Flow” construction, total

MECHANISM
Easy to use, safe, long-lasting models. Adjustment
is possible with a simple action:
a- pull out the micro-adjustable lever under the

b- turn the lever to lengthen/shorten the shoe
This mechanism is unique in 3 ways, essentially:
1- it’s very light 2- It allows the user to make even
minimal adjustments to the length. The adjustment
is millimetric, not simply by one shoe size or 1 cm
at a time 3- the skate can be adjusted while actually
being worn, so the user is sure of adjusting to the
right size.

La regolazione si effettua con un semplice gesto:
a- si estrae la leva posizionata sotto il tallone
b- si gira la leva per allungare/accorciare il pattino
L’unicità di questo meccanismo riguarda essenzialmente 3 aspetti:
1- è molto leggero 2- consente di regolare la lunghezza in modo micrometrico. Non si salta di
taglia in taglia con scatti da 1cm, ma la regolazione è millimetrica 3- si può regolare il pattino
tenendolo ai piedi, in modo da essere sicuri del raggiungimento della giusta lunghezza

With the new CBS, we really entered the new
generation of junior adjustable skates. Adaptability
to the child’s growing foot is ensured by the boot
and frame simultaneously expanding to ensure
constant skater balance as the child’s foot grows.
The front portion of the boot is connected to the
first half of the frame. Expanding the boot lengthens
the frame too, so that the balance on the skate is
kept constant.
CON IL NUOVO CBS ABBIAMO CREATO LA NUOVA GENERAZIONE DI PATTINO ALLUNGABILE.
L’adattabilità alla crescita del piede del bambino è assicurata dalla regolazione simultanea in
lunghezza della scarpa e del telaio, per un corretto posizionamento su ogni taglia. La porzione
frontale della scarpa è solidalmente connessa con la prima metà del telaio. Allungando la scarpa,
si allunga anche il telaio così da mantenere inalterato, costante, il baricentro del bambino sul
pattino.
