An Austrian university has developed an evaporative cooling
unit plus a simulation tool for air conditioning systems in
houses, animal sheds, greenhouses, etc. able to reduce the air
temperature from 35 to 25 degree C at air humidity of 35 – 40
%. Advantages are very low operational and investment costs
and it can use seawater or contaminated/untreated
groundwater. They are looking for industrial and service
partners for further development and market introduction.
Energy Saving With Wireless Heating and Cooling

A Turkish SME has developed an easy to assemble wireless
heating / cooling system that contains room thermostats. This
system facilitates independent heating and cooling of rooms /
zones and provides up to 30-35 % savings. Company is

An Italian research centre, specialized in wood-furniture sector,
is looking for a software technology for the management of
HVAC (Heating, ventilating, and air conditioning) systems. The
centre is interested in technical collaboration; this partnership
will allow technology development and validation with test and
a possible commercial agreement if the right solution can be
found.
Researchers from Czech university developed new heat
accumulation module system based on phase change
materials, which enables to stabilize the room temperature and
prevent overheating of the residential premises and
workplaces during the summer. Partners for manufacturing of
the equipment and licence agreement are sought.
