What really happened before, during and after the Quebec siege of British General James Wolfe? Let’s get to know the real heroes of an event that changed the course of history for the North-American continent. In 1759, with the help of Native American warriors, French soldiers and Canadian and Acadian militiamen are heroically defending New France against colonizers from overseas. Despite starvation, extreme poverty and epidemics, the people are resisting, wanting to prevent an army of strangers from taking over their country. In Sous les canons de Wolfe, action and history make for a story that depicts the day-to-day life of characters that were present during the conquest. The events are portrayed at a fast pace, so that the readers get to experience a unique adventure. This is an action-packed romanticised historical novel.
