Synopsys
Sophie is a 10 year old girl. An older girl, Erika, lives next door. Erika wear
goth clothes and has piercing. She looks very scary to Sophie. One day,
Sophie hears some weird noise from Erika’s garage and starts to believe
that Erika and her friends are zombie.

One evening Sophie’s mother and father must leave the house, they ask
Erika to come and babysit. Sophie will soon learn that Erika is not a
zombie, but the singer of a punk bank. Erika’s friends are also part of the
band.
Target audience
This presentation was created for grade 4 to 6 students who are learning
French as a second language. It uses very simple vocabulary and very
predictable words. During the presentation, the students will be asked to
guess some of the words of the presentation. Students who have never
taken French classes or who are just starting French can also see this
presentation.
This presentation is meant to be a funny exposure to French. It also
contains some more advanced vocabulary.
This presentation would not be appropriate for French immersion or
francophone students as they would find the vocabulary too simplistic.
Other presentations are available from the Legend Factory for French or
immersion students.
Presentation mode
The Legend Factory offers multimedia storytelling. The storyteller stands
between two giant screens. Two LCD projectors send video clips of the
presentation of the screens. A soundtrack is also integrated. Recorded
actor voices interact with the storyteller. Music and sounds are also part of
the soundtrack.
The Legend Factory is responsible for all the equipment. You only need to
supply the electricity, the presentation room (Gym, library, multimedia
room, theater, etc.) and the students.
Rates (2014 – 2015 school year)
The Legend Factory has a simple fee schedule for their shows. All the
traveling, lodging and meal expenses are covered by the Legend Factory.
The price is for one school but other schools can be invited to a show.
The maximum number of students is 300 students per show. The limit is
due to the size of my sound system. Should you have a larger audience,
you may provide a large sound system. The school personnel must
operate the sound system and assume responsibility of the proper
functioning of the system.

Full day package
This options allows you to choose up to four presentations. You can mix
grades and languages according to the need of your school. There is a
limit of 4 shows per day. Price $800.00
Half day package
This options allows you to choose up to two presentations. You can mix
grades and languages according to the need of your school. There is a
limit of 2 shows per day. Price $500.00
Vocabulary
The vocabulary for this show should not be shared with the students before
the presentation as the students will be asked to guess and predict the
storyline.
