Fly to Europe with EuroparlTV
EuroparlTV's flight simulation cockpit will be in the Copenhagen airport from the 1st
of April and for 4 weeks, offering travellers the unique experience of taking off, flying
and landing in their favourite European destinations. The cockpit is a 3D device
presenting EuroparlTV to passengers in waiting areas of selected airports. The
EuroparlTV flight simulation cockpit game was first launched in the national airport of
Brussels, Belgium. Ever since it has travelled in Frankfurt, London, Warsaw, and it
will continue its trip to Strasbourg in May and to Larnaka in July.
Background
EuroparlTV is the official web TV of the European Parliament, offering objective,
accurate and trustworthy information on the activities of the Chamber. The service
includes news bulletin 4 days per week, live streaming of parliamentary sessions and
committee meetings, debates and educational videos, archived content. All the
broadcasted video materials are subtitled in the 22 official languages of the EU for all
of the content, while there is also the option of voiceover for the educational package.
EuroparlTV was first launched on September 2008, having until today 75 partners all
over Europe.
