Bright red cherry, blood orange and floral notes give the 2015 a sense of aromatic lift that is quite appealing. This is one of the more laidback, refined wines of the vintage. There is plenty to like, especially the direction this wine has taken in the last few years. 89-91: Clos des Jacobins; 88-90 Jean Faure; 87-90: Fleur Cardinal, Grand Pontet; 87-89 : Monbousquet 1 Château Grand Barrail Lamarzelle Figeac 2015 Saint Émilion Grand cru 92-93 Bettane & Desseauve Riche et généreux, tannin mûr, allonge veloutée et bon équilibre.
