Christopher Plumb was born in 1982 and is from London. He told me
that he used to get into a lot of trouble at school and he would just draw
doodles in class. He also told me that someone threatened him with a
machete and he didn't flinch but that's another story.

In 2012, Chris started trying to sell his designs to tattoo parlours and a
friend introduced me to his work. Chris produces raw graphic images
using simple materials, mainly red and black felt tip on paper. He says a lot
of the images come to him in dreams which he obsessively puts down on
paper. I asked him why he does the drawings and he said "I don't know, it
calms me down".

Christopher Plumb est né en 1982 à Londres. Il m'a dit qu'il avait
beaucoup de problèmes à l'école et il gribouillait en classe. Il m’a
également dit que quelqu'un lui avait menacé avec une machette et il ne
broncha pas mais ça c'est une autre histoire.

En 2012, Chris a commencé à essayer de vendre ses créations aux salons
de tatouage et un ami m'a présenté son travail. Chris produit les images
graphiques brutes en utilisant matériel simple, principalement feutres
rouges et noirs sur papier. Il dit beaucoup des images viennent à lui dans
les rêves qu'il met sur papier. Je lui ai demandé pourquoi il fait les dessins
et il m'a dit "Je ne sais pas, ils me calment".
