Si vous rêvez de vous aventurer dans la forêt, le Circuit Fornatura vous permettra de découvrir la faune et
la flore de la région, avec des jeux pédagogiques qui mettront vos cinq sens en éveil.

Park Canillo is the place for you! There’s a kid’s playground with slides, bouncy castles, a ball pool, trampolines, acrojump and a whole host of other activities for the little ones. You can also try your hand at
archery, tubes, devalkart (non-motorized karts), donkey/horse-riding, arapahoe (dog sledding), pedalos,
canoeing and much, much more!
And if you want to take a walk in the woods, try the Fornatura Circuit to discover the area’s flora and fauna,
with educational games to excite all five senses.

MARC GENÉ
Les loisirs à moteur débarquent au Tarter avec l’ouverture prochaine du circuit de karting Marc Gené sur le
parking du Tarter. Pour faire monter l’adrénaline et s’amuser entre amis.
L’installation et l’aménagement du circuit seront réalisés avec la participation de Jordi et Marc Gené,
célèbres pilotes de Sabadell et experts dans la conception et la gestion de circuits de karting. L’installation
dispose d’un circuit de 500 mètres prévu aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants. Le circuit, installé
de façon temporaire, accueillera les visiteurs jusqu’à l’arrivée des premiers skieurs.

Let the engines roar at Tarter with the new opening of the Marc Gené Kart Racing Track in the Tarter car
park. It’s a great opportunity to blow off some steam with friends.
The circuit was designed and built in collaboration with Jordi and Marc Gené, famous drivers from Sabadell and experts in the design and management of go-kart racing circuits. The facility includes a 500 meter
circuit designed for both adults and children. The kart racing circuit, designed as a temporary facility, will
be in use until the beginning of the ski season.

than just an ice rink. Young and old alike can enjoy a wide variety of activities which combine leisure, sports
and gastronomy, both day and night.

on ice, to get your adrenaline pumping, or you can enjoy a hockey match or ice laser combat. There is also

Il s’agit de l’une des activités phares de la paroisse de Canillo, avec différents circuits et disciplines pour que
tous les passionnés de VTT soient comblés. Le responsable du Park est Oscar Sáiz, un rider de renommée
internationale dans la modalité de descente et ancien top ten mondial. Oscar et son équipe vous donneront
des conseils pour choisir la discipline et la difficulté des itinéraires.
Le Park dispose de plusieurs niveaux et pistes de cross-country, d’une piste de slopestyle, d’itinéraires freeride et d’un circuit aménagé. De plus, vous aurez la possibilité de télécharger les itinéraires. Plusieurs
modalités de forfaits (une journée, plusieurs jours...) sont à la disposition des visiteurs, dans l’objectif de
faciliter la pratique de ce sport.

This is one of the highlights of the summer activities in the parish of Canillo, with different circuits and
categories for all bike lovers to find their perfect trail. Oscar Sáiz, the Park Manager, is an internationally
famous cyclist in the downhill category and formerly one of the top ten of the world. Along with his team,
he will advise and help you to choose the category and level of difficulty of your trails.
The Park has different cross-country levels and trails, a slopestyle track, freeride itineraries and a module circuit. You will also be able to download the itineraries. All visitors have at their disposal different
types of passes, both single day or multiple days, in order to facilitate practicing the sport.

La paroisse de Canillo vous présente le terrain de golf le plus élevé d’Europe, situé à 2 250 m d’altitude.
L’architecte britannique Jeremy Pern, considéré comme l’un des meilleurs du monde par le Peugeot Golf

Le terrain est accessible par le téléphérique de huit places de Soldeu. Il s’agit d’un parcours de 9 trous-pair

This excursion to Andorra’s largest lake is one of the most famous mountain climbs in the country. At the
foot of the lake, you’ll find a guarded shelter (tel: +376 753 600) from which you will be able to enjoy one of the
most breathtaking views of a valley in the parish of Canillo. You could also do some fishing and maybe even
spot a Pyrenean brook salamander, vulture or mountain clover (mountain liquorice).

Comme il s’agit d’un chemin circulaire, il est possible de le démarrer depuis n’importe quel point.
Il est accessible à tous, mais si vous voulez le réaliser dans son intégralité, vous devez être en bonne forme physique, être habitué à
marcher, savoir vous orienter en montagne et disposer d’une carte
et d’une boussole. Nous vous conseillons de choisir comme point
de départ le village de Canillo ou de Soldeu, où vous trouverez des
panneaux explicatifs du circuit. Le circuit est balisé par des symboles représentant une fleur de plusieurs couleurs, qui correspond à
la marque touristique de la paroisse.
Il traverse deux grandes zones : la zone d’ombre et la zone
ensoleillée. La zone ensoleillée a été plus utilisée par l’homme et
comporte d’autres chemins, et la zone ombragée parcourt la forêt.
Tout au long de l’itinéraire, vous pourrez admirer les paysages les
plus beaux et les plus emblématiques des sommets et des vallées
de ce secteur de la paroisse. Vous pourrez voir les sommets de Casamanya, de l’Estanyó, de l’alt de Juclà et d’Escobes, ainsi que les
vallées glaciaires de Montaup, el Riu, la colline de Ransol et Incles.
La végétation caractéristique est le pin sylvestre, les genêts, le
genièvre, le bouleau et le rhododendron. La faune la plus significative est le vautour, le grand tétras, le gypaète barbu, l’isard ou le
chevreuil, entre autres. Vous aurez l’occasion d’observer une grande variété de faune et de flore lors de la réalisation de ce circuit qui
fait le tour de la paroisse de Canillo.

Since the path is circular, you can start and finish from anywhere
on the route.
It is accessible to everyone, but in order to complete it you must be
physically fit, used to walking, able to orient yourself in the mountains and carry a map or compass. It is advisable to begin in the
towns of Canillo or Soldeu, places where we have installed signs
explaining the circuit. The circuit is indicated by the symbol of a colored flower which is the touristic symbol of the parish.
It runs through two main areas: the shady side and the sunny side.
The sunny side has been used by man along with other trails and
the shady side is a forested area.
Along the way, you can enjoy the most beautiful and emblematic
scenery of the peaks and valleys in this area of the parish. We would
like to highlight the peaks of Casamanya, L’Estanyó, L’Alt de Juclà
and L’Alt d’Escobes, as well as the glacial valleys of Montaup, the
river and La Coma de Ransol and Incles.
The characteristic vegetation is the Scot’s pine, broom, juniper,
birch and alpenrose. The most extraordinary fauna is the vulture,
western capercaillie, the bearded vulture, the lizard and the roe
deer among others. As the route encompasses the entire parish
of Canillo, you will have the opportunity to observe a wide variety
of flora and fauna.
EL GALL TRAIL (CAMÍ DE GALL). SOLDEU. CANILLO
Promenade sans difficulté qui relie les villages de Canillo et Soldeu. Vous traverserez un pont suspendu
et admirerez la vue imprenable sur la cascade de Moles. L’itinéraire est bordé de panneaux d’information sur la nature et vous trouverez différents embranchements avec la route principale pour pouvoir
adapter la longueur du parcours. Vous pourrez également apercevoir des animaux, comme le coq de
bruyère (un animal protégé qui a donné son nom au chemin), des écureuils et des corbeaux.
A not very difficult walk linking the towns of Canillo and Soldeu. Walk over a hanging bridge and enjoy the magical
views of the Les Moles waterfall. All over the route, there are signposts indicating the different flora and fauna
and the many paths which join back up with the main road so you can adjust the length of your walk. You will also
have the opportunity to see all kinds of different animals such as the capercaillie (a protected species after which
the route is named: “gall de bosc”), squirrels and ravens.

MERITXELL,Canillo
Le sanctuaire de Meritxell, la Sainte Patronne d’Andorre, est un temple contemporain,
conçu par l’architecte catalan Ricard Bofill
et inauguré en 1976. Il s’agit d’une construction totalement éclectique, qui synthétise
l’oeuvre de l’homme et du paysage qui l’entoure, en s’inspirant d’un mélange de styles.
Une reproduction de la sculpture romane
de la Vierge de Meritxell domine l’autel, car
l’original disparut dans un incendie en l’incendie de 1972. La Saint Meritxell, fête nationale d’Andorre se célèbre le 8 septembre.

The current Sanctuary of Our Lady of Meritxell,
the patron saint of Andorra, is a contemporary
chapel designed by the Catalan architect Ricard Bofill and it was inaugurated in 1976. It is
a rather eclectic construction that synthesizes
man’s work and the landscape surrounding it,
being inspired by a conglomeration of different
styles. A reproduction of the Romanesque statue of the Virgin of Meritxell presides the altar,
as the original was destroyed in a fire in 1972.
Andorra celebrates the Diada de Meritxell, a
national holiday on September the 8th.
SANT JOAN DE
CASELLES. Canillo
Elle fut construite entre les XI e et XII e siècles, selon le schéma architectural des églises romanes d’Andorre. Elle renferme en son
intérieur un Christ datant du XIIe siècle et un
cimetière médiéval fut découvert autour de
l’église. Vous la trouverez à 1 km du village
de Canillo, à côté de la route principale, en
direction de la France.

CASELLES. Canillo
This construction, dated between the 11th
and 12th centuries, follows the architectural
structure of the Romanesque churches of
Andorra. The interior contains a statute of
Christ from the 12th century, while there are
the remains of a medieval graveyard around
the outside of the church. The church is 1 km
from the village of Canillo, beside the main
road leading towards France.
SANT SERNI. Canillo
L’église paroissiale de Canillo est consacrée
à Sant Serni. Son clocher, d’origine romane,
haut de 27 m fut construit au XVIIe siècle; il
s’agit du plus haut des vallées d’Andorre.
L’une des oeuvres maîtresses est le Christ
du XIVe siècle, de style gothique en bois polychrome.
SANT SERNI. Canillo
This is the parish church of Canillo, which is
dedicated to Sant Serni. Its Romanesque bell
tower, 27 m high, was built in the 17th century
and is one of the highest towers in the valleys
of Andorra. One of the most important works
of art inside the church is the Gothic-style Holy
Christ statue from the 14th century, which is
made of wood.

Le musée de la moto de Canillo est le seul du
genre en Andorre. Il rend hommage à ce véhicule
unique et irremplaçable qu’est la moto. L’espace
expose les engins les plus singuliers de toutes
les époques, du début du XXe siècle à nos jours. Il
se trouve à 1 km du village de Canillo, sur la route
principale, en direction de la France.

The Motorcycle Museum in Canillo is the first
of its kind in Andorra and pays homage to that
enduring vehicle, the motorcycle. The space is
home to unique machines from different eras,

the main road heading to France.

The shops in Andorra are mainly open from 10 am to 8 pm, except Saturdays and other public holidays when they stay open until 9 pm. The shops are closed on 1 January (New Year), 14 March (Day
of the Constitution), 8 September (Our Lady of Meritxell and 25 December (Christmas).
