Danièle LUCE, PhD French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM) Unit 1085 Pointe à Pitre, Guadeloupe, FWI Danièle Luce is a Research director at INSERM (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research). She holds a PhD in Epidemiology (University of Paris 7). She has a long experience in cancer epidemiology research, with emphasis on occupational and environmental cancer. A second aspect of her work concerns social inequalities in cancer incidence and mortality. She has authored or coauthored over 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals. In 2012, she joined the Guadeloupe team of the Research Institute on Health, Environment and Work (INSERM U1085). Danièle Luce is currently funded by the French National Cancer Institute (INCa) and the French Agency for Food, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (ANSES) to conduct studies on social and occupational determinants of cancer in the French West Indies.
