Fredrick D’Anterny has published more than sixty novels in various genres, for both adults and children, among
which are a few science fiction series that were very popular with readers. An activity leader and a lecturer, he
also teaches writing classes and workshops. As a member of The Culture in the Schools program and UNEQ,
he proposes science fiction stories filled with action, tenderness and supernatural occurrences.
Chantal Déry is the mother of two boys. For twenty years, she has worked with children battling behavioural
disorders. She is also a massage therapist, a reflexologist and has obtained a certification in naturopathy and
in NLP (neuro linguistic programming).

— Je peux t’aider, Théo ? me demande madame Viviane.
— Euh, bien… je cherche mon devoir. Il est à coup sûr dans mon sac.
— Et tu le cherches dans ta boîte à lunch ?
— Bien oui, au cas où papa l’y aurait mis. Il est toujours dans la lune.
Je ne comprends pas pourquoi mon fichu devoir n’est pas là.
Madame Viviane approche ses grosses lunettes de mon visage.
— Ah ! dis-je, je sais ! Il était au chalet.
— À ton chalet ?
— Oui. Il faisait très froid, hier matin. Mamie a démarré le feu.
— Le feu ?
— Oui. Avec du papier.
— Es-tu en train de me dire, Théo Paquin, que ta mamie a allumé le feu avec ton devoir ?
