JANVIER 2016 LA NEWSLETTER DES ASSISTANTS Le dispositif des assistants en écoles : Le 1er Octobre 2015, 9 assistantes anglophones ont été affectées dans des écoles du Pas-­‐de-­‐Calais. Une journée d’accueil académique s’est tenue au Lycée Baggio de Lille. Premier contact présentiel avec Channon, Erin, Rosanna, Rosemary, Kierra, Sophie, Sarah, Courtney et Kathy. Elles sont originaires du Royaume-­‐Uni, des Etats-­‐Unis, du Canada. Leur rôle est d’aider les équipes enseignantes à développer le goût pour une culture étrangère et la pratique d’une langue vivante. Voici la carte de leur implantation dans le Département : Les formations : Le 25 Septembre les Référents des assistants ont été rassemblés pour faire le point sur l’aspect administratif des affectations. Le 9 Novembre, les Assistants et leurs référents ont été réunis pour une formation à la co-­‐intervention en classe. At university, I studied Psychology and French Culture. I also worked
at a primary school.
I like to read, run, cook, and travel. What I like best is spending time
with my family, my friends, and my dog.
Currently, I live in Lille with three other English assistants.
Last year, I lived in Nice, France. I was an au pair for two little boys
and a dog.
Next year, I am moving back to North Carolina.
I am starting graduate school in the fall.
I will study public health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. It is the oldest public university in the United States (1789).

My name is Rosanna Sweet, but everyone calls me Rosie.
I am 20 years old and I come from Ipswich, Suffolk in the UK.
Ipswich a town in the east of England, around an hour and a half away
from London.
The county (region) of Suffolk is known for its farming so there is lots
of beautiful countryside.
I also live close to the coast so I often have days out at the beach.

the city of Leeds which is in Yorkshire.
Next year I will live in Leeds for my final year of university.
This year I am working at a primary school in Labeuvrière and I live
30 minutes away in Béthune.
My hobbies include cooking, skiing and travelling.
