L’appareil ne nécessite pas d’entretien, il n’est donc jamais nécessaire de l’ouvrir. Ouvrir l’appareil a pour
conséquence l’annulation de la garantie.
Nettoyez l’extérieur du système avec un chiffon doux et sec ou un pinceau. N’utilisez en aucun cas un
détergent agressif ou une solution chimique, ils pourraient détériorer la surface du boîtier ou perturber le
bon fonctionnement.
Conseils pour le maniement des CD :
• Ne prenez vos disques compacts qu’en les tenant par les côtés, vous évitez
ainsi toute empreinte digitale ou salissure de la surface.
• Ne touchez vos CD qu’avec des mains propres.
• Au cas où un disque serait toutefois sali, essuyez-le avec un chiffon doux et
non pelucheux en allant du milieu vers le bord extérieur, surtout pas en mouvements tournants. N’utilisez pas de solvants
• Dans le cas de salissures plus importantes, veuillez utiliser un détergent spécial CD vendu dans le commerce (pas un produit pour disques 33 ou 45 tours) et
prenez compte des consignes du fabricant.
• N’écrivez rien sur les CD et n’y collez pas d’autocollant ou similaire.
• Conservez vos CD après écoute dans les étuis CD d’origine.
• Evitez de conserver vos CD à un endroit directement exposé au soleil, à toute source de chaleur ou d’humidité.
Elimination des déchets
Jetez l’appareil devenu inutilisable suivant les lois en vigueur.
Précision relative à la protection de l’environnement !
Le consommateur est tenu de retourner les piles usagées et les accus (de la pile bouton
à la batterie au plomb). Il est défendu de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères.
Vous pouvez retourner vos piles usagées et les accus, sans avoir à assumer de frais
supplémentaires, dans nos filiales, de même que dans les centres de recyclage municipaux qui sont tenus de les reprendre.

Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Belüftung des Gerätes. Decken Sie die Ventilationsöffnungen nicht ab.
Dieses Produkt ist mit einem Laser der Klasse 1 ausgerüstet. Öffnen Sie das Gerät niemals, Einstell- oder
Wartungsarbeiten dürfen nur vom ausgebildeten Fachmann, der mit den jeweiligen Gefahren vertraut ist,
durchgeführt werden. Eine unsachgemäß ausgeführte Einstellarbeit kann eine gefährliche Laserstrahlung
zur Folge haben.
Im CD Fach des Gerätes befindet sich ein Laserwarnschild. Das Gerät ist mit
einem Laser der Klasse 1 ausgestattet.
Blicken Sie nie in den Laserstrahl. Laserstrahlung kann zu Augenverletzungen führen. Entfernen Sie die Warnschilder nicht vom Gerät.
Der Laser wird über einen Sicherheitsschalter gesteuert und ist nur im ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb eingeschaltet. Überbrücken Sie den Sicherheitsschalter niemals

1.Appuyez sur la touche SET MARK (5) pendant la reproduction à l’endroit désiré. L’affichage "BOOKMARK" apparaît brièvement sur l’écran.
2.Appuyez sur la touche RESUME (29). La reproduction reprend à l’endroit mémorisé.
Fonction GOTO
En appuyant sur la touche GOTO, vous pouvez sélectionner directement un moment déterminé.
Appuyez sur la touche GOTO (9). Vous pouvez maintenant entrer directement un moment déterminé à l’aide du clavier numérique (3). Dès que vous avez entré le dernier chiffre, la reproduction démarre à l’endroit
choisi.

Touche MODE
Appuyez en mode Stop la touche MODE (7). Une sélection de 4 menus apparaissent sur l’écran que vous
pouvez sélectionner au moyen du clavier numérique :
• INTRO: le début de tous les titres/chapitres d’un CD sont joués pendant 10 sec. env. chacun.
• DISC: Le début des 9 premiers titres/chapitres d’un CD sont reproduits et les scènes du début affichées
sur l’écran. Dès après le démarrage de cette fonction, appuyez brièvement sur la touche de saut d’un
titre à l’autre (12) pour passer aux titres/chapitres à partir de 10. La sélection des titres/chapitres se fait
ensuite à l’aide du clavier numérique (3).
• TRACK: Appuyez dès après le démarrage de la fonction TRACK les touches de saut d’un titre à l’autre
(12) pour sélectionner le titre/chapitre souhaité. Le titre/chapitre est départagé en 9 séquences. Le début
des 9 séquences est brièvement joué puis affichées à l’écran. La sélection de la séquence souhaitée s’effectue au moyen du clavier numérique (3).
• EXIT: La fonction MODE est quittée au moyen du menu EXIT.
Touche PBC
La fonction menu d’un CD vidéo (n’existe que sur les versions 2.0) peut être activée ou désactivée au
moyen de la touche PBC (25). PBC = Playback Control.
• PBC ON: La reproduction du CD est interrompue après chaque chapitre. Le menu est affiché à l’écran. Il
est possible de passer d’une page à l’autre à l’aide des touches de saut d’un titre à l’autre (12).
• PBC OFF: Le menu du CD vidéo est éteint. Les titres/chapitres sont lus les uns après les autres sans
interruption.
Touche RETURN
Au moyen de la touche RETURN (20), il est possible de désactiver les fonctions recherche, STEP (image
par image) et SLOW (ralenti).
Sélection de la norme télévision
Appuyer sur la touche permet de faire passer la sortie vidéo de l’appareil de la norme télévision PAL à la
norme NTSC. Mettez la norme utilisée par votre appareil de télévision (voir notice d’emploi du téléviseur). La
norme employée en Allemagne par exemple est PAL.
Touche OSD
Appuyez sur la touche OSD (8) pendant la reproduction d’un CD vidéo. Sur l’écran apparaissent le numéro
du titre actuel, le nombre total de titres et le temps déjà écoulé de la reproduction du titre joué. En appuyant
encore une fois sur la touche OSD (8), il est possible d’afficher sur l’écran la durée du titre encore à jouer
ou la durée totale encore à jouer de tous les titres à la fois. L’affichage disparaît si on appuie encore une fois
sur la touche.
Mode casque
Enfichez la fiche jack stéréo d’un écouteur dans la prise casque (32). Le volume du casque est réglé par le
régleur de volume casque (33). Tournez le régleur vers la droite pour monter le son (+) ou vers la gauche
pour baisser le son (-).
☞ Toujours baisser le son sur minimum avant d’enficher le casque.

Aufstellen der Anlage
Berücksichtigen Sie bei der Wahl des Aufstellortes die Raumgegebenheiten, wie z.B. die Lage der nächsten
Steckdose, etc.. Achten Sie bei der Auswahl des Aufstellortes auch darauf, dass das Gerät nicht direktem
Sonnenlicht, Vibrationen, Staub, Hitze, Kälte und Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt wird. Es dürfen sich keine starken
Transformatoren oder Motoren in der Nähe des Gerätes befinden.
Stellen Sie das Gerät nur auf einen stabilen, waagerechten Untergrund. Es muss eine
ausreichende Luftzirkulationsmöglichkeit für die Anlage gegeben sein, um die entstehende Hitze abführen zu können. Decken Sie die Lüftungsschlitze des Gerätes nicht ab.
Ein Nichtbeachten dieses Hinweises könnte eine Beschädigung des Gerätes nach sich
ziehen. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur korrekt aufgestellt, da ansonsten keine richtige
Funktion des CD Spielers gegeben ist.
Bei Nichtbeachten dieses Hinweises könnte die eingelegte CD, bzw. der CD-Player
beschädigt werden.
Angesichts der Vielfalt der verwendeten Lacke und Polituren bei Möbeln, ist nicht auszuschließen, dass die Gerätefüße hervorgerufen, durch eine chemische Reaktion, sichtbare
Rückstände auf den Möbeln hinterlassen könnten. Das Gerät sollte deshalb nicht ohne
geeigneten Schutz auf wertvolle Möbeloberflächen gestellt werden.
Bohren oder schrauben Sie zur Befestigung des Gerätes keine zusätzlichen Schrauben
in das Gehäuse, dadurch wird das Gerät beschädigt.
Anschluss
Überzeugen Sie sich davon, dass vor dem Anschluss oder vor jeder Veränderung des
Anschlusses, das Gerät spannungsfrei ist. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Netzanschluss:
• Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Netzkabels in eine 230V AC / 50 Hz Haushalts-Netzsteckdose.
Cinchaudio- und Cinchvideoausgänge:
Der CD-Spieler besitzt zwei Audio- und Videoausgänge. Es besteht deshalb die Möglichkeit, das Gerät
gleichzeitig an die Hifi-Anlage und an das TV-Gerät anzuschließen.
• TV-Gerät:
Verbinden Sie den Audio- (L1/R1) und den Videoausgang (1) mit Ihrem TV-Gerät. Benutzen Sie zum
Anschluss das beiliegende AV-Cinchkabel.

Fonction REPEAT (répétition des titres)
1.Appuyez d’abord lors de la lecture du CD une fois sur la touche REPEAT (17), "REPEAT 1" apparaît sur
le display. Le titre actuellement joué est répété jusqu’à ce que la fonction REPEAT soit à nouveau interrompue.
2.Appuyez encore une fois sur la touche REPEAT (17), l’indication "REPEAT ALL" apparaît sur le display.
Une fois la lecture de tous les titres du CD terminée, la reproduction du CD entier recommence d’ellemême. Ceci continue jusqu’à ce que la fonction REPEAT soit interrompue.
3.Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche REPEAT (17) pour éteindre la fonction REPEAT.
Lecture en boucle fermée
1.Appuyez sur la touche A-B (2). "REPEAT A-" apparaît sur l’écran.
2.Appuyez encore une fois sur la touche A-B (2). "REPEAT A-B" apparaît sur l’écran. Ensuite commence la
répétition continuelle du passage ainsi choisi.
3.Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche A-B (2), la lecture en boucle fermée s’arrête.
Réglage du volume
Le lecteur de CD dispose d’un réglage du volume propre commandé par la touche VOLUME (14). Pour
interrompre le son brièvement(MUTE), utilisez la touche d’interruption du son MUTE (15).
Effets SURROUND

CD Betrieb
Einlegen einer CD
1.Schalten Sie das Gerät durch Drücken des POWER Schalters (16) ein.
2.Drücken Sie die EJECT Taste (1), das CD Fach öffnet sich.
3.Legen Sie eine CD mit der beschrifteten Seite nach oben in das Fach ein.
4.Drücken Sie die EJECT Taste (1). Das CD Fach schließt sich.
5.Nachdem die CD eingelesen wurde, wird die Wiedergabe der CD automatisch gestartet. Befindet sich das
Gerät im Stopmodus, starten Sie die Wiedergabe mit der PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23).

Fonction VOCAL
Appuyer sur la touche VOCAL (26) permet de sélectionner les différents modes de reproduction audio
(mono, stéréo etc.) à la sortie. Le mode de reproduction est brièvement affiché sur l’écran TV.

Mode MP3
Zehnertastenfeld
Über das Zehnertastenfeld kann ein Titel direkt angewählt werden. Zur Anwahl eines zwei- oder dreistelligen Titels, z.B. 42, müssen Sie die Taste +10 mehrmals drücken. Am angeschlossenem TV-Gerät erscheint
"SELECT: 4- ". Danach müssen Sie schnell die Taste 2 drücken. Am TV-Gerät erscheint kurz "SELECT: 42".
Der Titel 42 wird nun abgespielt.
Il ne faut pas utiliser les touches RESUME (24) et SET MARK (5) en mode MP3. Appuyer
sur ces touches peut perturber le fonctionnement. L’appareil pourrait ne plus réagir aux
commandes entrées. Une remise à zéro (reset) ne peut être effectuée qu’en éteignant et
en ré-allumant l’appareil par l’interrupteur POWER (16).
• Les touches et fonctions semblables à celles du "Mode CD" ne seront plus décrites ici.
• Dans le cas où une touche serait appuyée qui n’a pas de fonction sur le cédérom MP3 inséré soit
momentanément, soit en général, une main apparaît sur l’écran connecté.
• Le fonctionnement en mode MP3 se laisse observer le mieux sur l’écran connecté.
• L’affichage du numéro du titre sur le display (35) est à deux chiffres (1 – 99). Quand le titre 122 est
joué, 22 apparaît sur le display.
La lecture du premier titre démarre automatiquement après la fin de la lecture de reconnaissance du cédérom MP3 inséré. Le titre joué est marqué d’une flèche sur l’écran du téléviseur connecté. Il est possible d’afficher jusqu’à 12 titres par page (PAGE).
En mode stop, les 12 premiers titres reproduits ou la structure de répertoire du MP3 (s’il y en a une) apparaissent sur l’écran connecté. Au moyen des deux touches de recherche (10), le titre souhaité ou le répertoire souhaité peuvent être sélectionnés. Au moyen de la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23), la lecture est ensuite
démarrée.
Appuyez sur la touche OSD (8). Le titre actuel, le nombre total de titres et le temps déjà joué du titre actuel
sont affichés. Il est possible de faire disparaître l’affichage en appuyant sur la touche encore une fois. La
touche TIME (11) n’a aucune fonction en mode MP3.

Mit den Suchlauftasten (10) können Sie während der Wiedergabe einen schnellen Rücklauf bzw. Vorlauf
starten. Durch mehrmaliges Drücken können Sie dabei die Geschwindigkeit steigern. Eine entsprechende
Einblendung erfolgt im Bildschirm.
Wird die PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23) gedrückt oder das Ende/Anfang eines Musiktitels erreicht, so wird der
Titel wieder in der Normalgeschwindigkeit abgespielt.
SHUFFLE Funktion (Zufallswiedergabe)
1.Drücken Sie die STOP Taste (29) um die CD Wiedergabe zu stoppen.
2.Drücken Sie die SHUFFLE Taste (13), im Display erscheint die Anzeige "SHUFFLE".
3.Drücken Sie die PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23) um die Zufallswiedergabe zu starten. Die Titel der CD werden
jetzt in zufälliger Reihenfolge wiedergegeben.
4.Drücken Sie die SHUFFLE Taste (13) im Stopmodus um die Zufallswiedergabe zu deaktivieren.
☞ Die SHUFFLE Funktion lässt sich nur im Stopmodus ein- bzw. ausschalten.
CD Titelreihenfolge programmieren
1.Drücken Sie die STOP Taste (29) um die CD Wiedergabe zu stoppen.
2.Drücken Sie die PROG Taste (6), im Display erscheint die Anzeige "MEMORY".
3.Über das Zehnertastenfeld können nun die gewünschten Titel nacheinander programmiert werden. Durch
Drücken der ERASE Taste (4) kann jeweils die letzte Eingabe gelöscht werden.

Drücken Sie die OSD Taste (8). Am TV-Gerät wird der aktuelle Titel, die Gesamttitelanzahl und die wiedergegebene Zeit des aktuellen Titels eingeblendet. Die Anzeige wird durch nochmaliges Drücken dieser Taste
ausgeblendet. Die TIME Taste (11) hat während des MP3 Betriebs keine Funktion.

pourraient être endommagées. Au cas où votre ampli Hifi/Surround disposerait d’une entrée vidéo, vous
pouvez également y connecter le lecteur. Veuillez vous procurer le câble Cinch nécessaire dans le commerce spécialisé.
Mise en place/changement des piles
Ne laissez pas traîner les piles, elles pourraient être avalées par un enfant ou par un animal domestique. Si cela arrivait, consultez immédiatement un médecin !
Les piles corrodées ou endommagées peuvent au toucher causer des brûlures sur la
peau. Mettez impérativement des gants de protection appropriés pour retirer de telles
piles.
Veillez à ne pas court-circuiter les piles.
N’essayez jamais de recharger des piles. Ne pas les jeter dans le feu. Il y a risque d’explosion.
Ne laissez pas des piles usagées dans la télécommande ni dans l’appareil car même les
piles protégées contre les fuites peuvent corroder et ainsi libérer des produits chimiques
nocifs à votre santé et qui peuvent détruire le compartiment à piles. Retirez les piles du
compartiment à piles quand vous n’utilisez pas la télécommande pour une longue période.

Tasten und Funktionen, die im "CD - ", "MP3 - " und im "VCD Betrieb" identisch oder ähnlich sind,
werden in diesem Abschnitt nicht mehr beschrieben.
Sollte eine Tasteneingabe erfolgen, die zur Zeit oder generell keine Funktion bei der eingelegten
Video CD hat, so erscheint am Bildschirm eine Hand.
STEP Funktion (Einzelbild)
Während der Wiedergabe kann mit der STEP-Taste (28) die Einzelbildfunktion eingeschaltet werden. Nach
jedem Drücken der STEP-Taste (28), wird zum nächsten Einzelbild gewechselt. Mit der PLAY/PAUSE
Taste (23) wird die Wiedergabe fortgesetzt.
SLOW Funktion (Zeitlupe)
Durch Drücken der SLOW Taste (27) können Sie während der Wiedergabe die Zeitlupenfunktion aktivieren.
Durch mehrmaliges Drücken kann zwischen den verschiedenen Zeitlupengeschwindigkeiten gewählt werden. Betätigen Sie die PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23) um die normale Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit wieder zu
starten. Es erfolgt keine Audiowiedergabe bei der SLOW Funktion.
ZOOM Funktion
1.Die ZOOM Funktion lässt sich nur im Pausemodus aktivieren. Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe die
PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23). Das Gerät schaltet in den Pausemodus.
2.Drücken Sie die Taste ZOOM IN (31). Die ZOOM Funktion wird eingeschaltet.
3.Mit den ZOOM Pfeiltasten (31) kann das Bild verschoben werden.
4.Drücken Sie die ZOOM OUT Taste (22) um die ZOOM Funktion zu beenden.
RESUME Funktion
Durch Drücken der RESUME Taste, wird der Film an der Stelle fortgesetzt, an der die Wiedergabe mit der
STOP Taste unterbrochen wurde. Sollten Sie bei der Wiedergabe einer Video CD gestört werden (z.B. Telefonanruf) findet diese Funktion seine Anwendung.

The range of application for the MP3 CD Players CD-3722 includes the use in homes.
The device is designed for
• playback of audio, MP3 and video CDs
It is only allowed to be used in closed rooms and not outdoors. Contact with dampness e.g., bathroom or
similar, needs to be absolutely avoided.
Any use other than the one previously described can lead to damages on the product. Moreover, this
involves dangers, such as e.g., short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modified or rebuilt.

Never turn on the device immediately after it has been brought from a cold into a warm room. Condensation
water that forms might destroy your device.
Leave the device switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature. Wait till the condensation water has evaporated.
Avoid operation under adverse surrounding conditions. Adverse surrounding conditions are:
• too high air humidity (> 90 % relative air humidity) dampness, dust and flammable gases, vapours or solvents
• too high surrounding temperatures (> +50 °C), too low surrounding temperatures (< +5 °C)
Music should not be listened to at excessive volume over a longer period of time, since
this can damage the device.
Always make sure that the volume on the headphone is turned to minimum before using
them. Increase the volume slowly to a level which is comfortable for you.
Remote Control
Point the remote control with its front in the direction of Infrared receiver eye (35).
The reach of the remote control is approx. 5m. The receiving angle of the infrared Receiver eye (35) is
approx. 30° in both directions
Make sure that no items or people are in the transmission path, since the function will not work in
this case.
Maintenance, Care & Disposal
Maintenance
Check the technical safety of the device regularly e.g., for damages on the system unit’s cover, the mains
power cord, etc. If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impossible put the unit out of
operation and secure it against any unintended operation.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
• the device exhibits visible damage
• the device does not operate any longer
• the device was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
• the device was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport.
Before cleaning or servicing the device, please observe the following safety instructions:
Pull the mains plug from the socket.
Repairs/opening the device may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regulation.
The device is maintenance-free, never open it. On opening the device, your right to claim under guarantee
expires.
Clean the exterior of the system only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use aggressive cleaning agents
or solvents since this might damage the system unit’s cover or impair functions.

Tips on Handling CDs:
• Only touch the CD on the edges. This is how you avoid fingerprints and contamination of the surface.
• Only touch your CDs with clean hands.
• However, should the CDs be dirty, clean them with a soft, lint-free cloth from
the middle outwards. Avoid circular movements during cleaning. Do not use
solvents.
• In the case of stubborn contamination use a commercial CD cleaner (not a
record cleaner) and pay attention to the operating instructions.

• Hi-fi system:
Connect the audio output (L2/R2) with a suitable Aux, line or CD input of your hi-fi/surround amplifier. A
connection to the phono input is not permitted. This can destroy the amplifier and the connected speakers. If your hi-fi/surround amplifier has a video output, this can also be connect. The necessary cinch
cable can be bought in specialist shops.
Inserting/Changing of Batteries
VCD Operation (Video CD)
Buttons and functions which are identical or similar in "CD", "MP3" and in "VCD operation" will not
be described again in this chapter.
If inputs are carried out with buttons which do not have any function or generally have no function
with the inserted video CD, then a hand will appear on the connected monitor.
STEP Function (Still-frame)
During playback the still-frame function can be switched on with the STEP button (28). After each pressing
of the STEP-button (28), it changes to the next picture. With the PLAY/PAUSE button (23) playback can
be continued.
SLOW Function (Slow motion)
By pressing the SLOW button (27) you can enable the slow motion function during playback.
By repeatedly pressing it, you can select between several slow motion speeds. Activate the PLAY/PAUSE
button (23) to start normal playback speed again. There is no audio playback in the SLOW Function.
ZOOM Function
1.The ZOOM function can only be enabled in pause mode. Press PLAY/PAUSE button (23) during playback. The unit will switch to pause mode.
2.Press the button ZOOM IN (31). ZOOM function is switched on.
3.With the ZOOM arrow buttons (31) the picture can be moved.
4.Press the ZOOM OUT button (22) to complete ZOOM function.
RESUME Function
By pressing the RESUME button, the film will be continued from where playback was stopped with the STOP
button. If you get interrupted during playback of a video CD (e.g., phone call), you can use this function.
1.Interrupt running playback with the STOP button (29) e.g., track 5, time 01:20. The unit will switch into
stop mode.
2.Press RESUME button (24). Playback will start at track 5, time 01:20.
SET MARK Function
With this function you can mark a place on an inserted video CD. You can call the memorised place with the
RESUME button. The SET MARK function is only enabled during playback.
1.Press SET MARK button (5) during playback on the desired place. "BOOKMARK" will briefly be displayed on the monitor.
2.Press RESUME button (29). Playback will restart on the memorised place.

Never let batteries lie around openly, there is the risk of children or pets swallowing
them. In case of swallowing, seek instant medical care.
Leaking or damaged batteries can cause acid burns on the skin when touched, this is
why you should wear protective gloves in this case.
Make sure not to short-circuit batteries.
Never try to recharge batteries. Do not throw batteries into open fires. There is risk of
explosion.
Do not leave used batteries in the remote control or the device, since even leakage-proof
batteries may corrode and chemicals can be set free which damage your health or
destroy the battery receptacle. Remove the batteries if the remote control is not used for
a longer period of time

Maniement
N’allumez jamais l’appareil tout de suite quand il vient d’être mis d’une pièce froide dans une pièce chaude.
L’eau de condensation qui en résulte pourrait, dans des conditions défavorables, détruire l’appareil.
Laissez donc l’appareil éteint prendre la température ambiante avant de le mettre en marche. Attendez que l’eau de condensation se soit évaporée.
Evitez d’utiliser l’appareil dans des conditions d’environnement contraires à son bon fonctionnement. Des
conditions d’environnement contraires sont que l’appareil fonctionne :
• dans une humidité relative de l’air trop élevée (> 90 % hum. rel.), mouillé, dans la poussière ou des gaz,
vapeurs ou solutions inflammables
• à des températures trop élevées (> +50°C), à des températures trop basses (< +5°C)
N’écoutez pas de la musique pendant longtemps à un volume exagéré, cela pourrait provoquer des séquelles auditives.
Faites attention avant de mettre un écouteur que le volume est sur minimum. N’augmentez le volume que progressivement jusqu’à un niveau agréable à l’oreille.
Télécommande
Tenez la télécommande de manière à ce que le côté avant soit en face du capteur de réception (35) de l’appareil principal. La portée de la télécommande est de 5 m env. L’angle de réception du capteur infrarouge
(35) est d’env. 30° dans les deux directions.
Faites attention à ce qu’il n’y ait pas d’objets ni de personnes entre les deux, cela empêcherait la
télécommande de fonctionner.
Maintenance, entretien & élimination des déchets
Maintenance
Vérifiez régulièrement le bon état technique de l’appareil au point de vue sécurité, par ex. endommagement
du boîtier, du cordon d’alimentation, etc.
S’il est probable qu'une utilisation sans danger n'est plus possible, l'appareil doit être mis hors service et
protégé contre toute utilisation involontaire.
Une utilisation sans danger n'est plus possible si
• l'appareil présente des dommages visibles,
• l'appareil ne fonctionne plus
• après un long stockage dans des conditions défavorables ou
• après des conditions de transport défavorables.
Avant de nettoyer l’appareil ou d’effectuer un entretien, veuillez prendre les consignes de sécurité suivantes
en considération :
Débranchez l’appareil du secteur.
Toute réparation/ouverture de l’appareil doit impérativement être effectuée par un spécialiste connaissant les dangers liés à de tels travaux et les prescriptions correspondantes.

Verbinden Sie den Audioausgang (L2/R2) mit einem geeigneten Aux-, Line- oder CD-Eingang Ihres
Hifi/Surround-Verstärkers. Ein Anschluss am Phono-Eingang ist nicht erlaubt. Dadurch könnten der Verstärker oder die angeschlossenen Boxen zerstört werden. Sollten Ihr Hifi/Surround-Verstärker einen Videoanschluss besitzen, so können Sie auch diesen noch daran anschließen. Die dazu benötigten Cinchkabel
können im Fachhandel bezogen werden.
Einlegen/Wechseln der Batterien
Lassen Sie Batterien nicht offen herumliegen, es besteht die Gefahr, dass diese von Kindern oder Haustieren verschluckt werden. Suchen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens
sofort einen Arzt auf!
Ausgelaufene oder beschädigte Batterien können bei Berührung mit der Haut Verätzungen verursachen, benutzen Sie deshalb in diesem Fall geeignete Schutzhandschuhe.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Batterien nicht kurzgeschlossen werden.
Versuchen Sie nie Batterien aufzuladen. Werfen Sie keine Batterien ins Feuer. Es besteht
Explosionsgefahr.
Belassen Sie verbrauchte Batterien nicht in der Fernbedienung, bzw. im Gerät, da selbst
auslaufgeschützte Batterien korrodieren können und dadurch Chemikalien freigesetzt
werden können, welche Ihrer Gesundheit schaden bzw. das Batteriefach zerstören. Entfernen Sie die Batterien bei längerem Nichtbenutzen der Fernbedienung aus dem Batteriefach.

Mode VCD (CD vidéo)
Les touches et fonctions semblables en mode "CD", "MP3" et "VCD" ne seront plus décrites ici. Dans
le cas où une touche serait appuyée qui n’a pas de fonction sur le CD vidéo inséré soit momentanément, soit en général, une main apparaît sur l’écran connecté.
Fonction STEP (image par image)
Pendant la reproduction, il est possible au moyen de la touche STEP (28) d’activer la fonction image par
image. A chaque fois que la touche STEP (28) est appuyée, l’image suivante est affichée. Appuyez sur la
touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour reprendre la reproduction normale.
Fonction SLOW (ralenti)
En appuyant sur la touche SLOW (27), il est possible d’activer la fonction « au ralenti ». En appuyant plusieurs fois de suite, il est possible de choisir entre les différentes vitesses de ralenti.
Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour revenir à la vitesse normale de reproduction. Il n’y a pas de
reproduction audio pendant la fonction SLOW.
Fonction ZOOM
1.La fonction ZOOM ne peut être activée qu’en mode Pause. Appuyez pendant la reproduction sur la
touche PLAY/PAUSE (23). L’appareil passe en mode Pause.
2.Appuyez sur la touche ZOOM IN (31). La fonction ZOOM est activée.
3.L’image peut être déplacée au moyen des touches flèches ZOOM (31).
4.Appuyez sur la touche ZOOM OUT (22) pour désactiver la fonction ZOOM.
Fonction RESUME
En appuyant sur la touche RESUME, il est possible de faire redémarrer la reproduction à l’endroit où celleci a été interrompue par la touche STOP. Si vous étiez dérangé pendant que vous regardez un film sur CD
vidéo (par ex. par un coup de téléphone), vous pouvez utiliser cette fonction.
1.Interrompez la reproduction en cours en appuyant sur la touche STOP (29), par ex. sur le titre 5, à 01:20.
L’appareil passe en mode stop.
2.Appuyez sur la touche RESUME (24). La reproduction reprend au titre 5, à 01:20.
Fonction SET MARK
Cette fonction vous permet de marquer un passage déterminé d’un CD vidéo. Vous pouvez appeler ensuite le passage mémorisé au moyen de la touche RESUME. La fonction SET MARK n’est active que pendant
la reproduction.

6.Um die programmierte Titelreihenfolge zu löschen, drücken Sie die PROG Taste (6) im Stopmodus zweimal.
7.Die programmierte Titelreihenfolge wird automatisch durch das Öffnen des CD Fachs gelöscht.
REPEAT (Titelwiederhol-) Funktion
1.Drücken Sie während der laufenden CD Wiedergabe die REPEAT Taste (17) einmal, im Display erscheint
die Anzeige "REPEAT 1". Der gerade abgespielte Titel wird jetzt solange wiederholt, bis die REPEAT
Funktion abgebrochen wird.
2.Drücken Sie die REPEAT Taste (17) nochmals, im Display erscheint die Anzeige "REPEAT ALL". Nach
dem Abspielen aller Titel der CD, beginnt die Wiedergabe der kompletten CD erneut. Dies wird solange
fortgesetzt, bis die REPEAT Funktion abgebrochen wird.
3.Drücken Sie die REPEAT Taste (17) erneut, die REPEAT Funktion wird ausgeschaltet.
Wiedergabeschleife
1.Drücken Sie die A-B Taste (2). Im Display erscheint die Anzeige "REPEAT A-".
2.Drücken Sie die A-B Taste (2) nochmals. Im Display erscheint die Anzeige "REPEAT A-B". Danach
beginnt die ständige Wiederholung des ausgewählten Wiedergabebereichs.
3.Drücken Sie die A-B Taste (2) erneut, die Wiedergabeschleife wird beendet.
Lautstärkeeinstellung
Der CD-Player verfügt über eine eigene Lautstärkeeinstellung, die sich mit den Tasten VOLUME (14) einstellen lässt. Zum Ein- bzw. Ausschalten der Stummschaltung (MUTE), drücken Sie die MUTE Taste (15).
SURROUND-Klangeinstellung
Drücken Sie die SURROUND Taste (19), um die verschiedenen Klangeinstellungen aufzurufen. Das Gerät
wird automatisch nach jedem Einschalten auf die Grundeinstellung zurückgesetzt.
Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit
: Drücken der Taste verringert die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit.
: Drücken der Taste setzt die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit auf die normale Geschwindigkeit zurück.
: Drücken der Taste erhöht die Wiedergabegeschwindigkeit.
VOCAL Funktion
Durch Drücken der VOCAL Taste (26) lassen sich verschiedene Audiowiedergabearten (mono, stereo usw.)
am Ausgang einstellen. Die Wiedergabeart wird kurz am TV-Gerät eingeblendet.
MP3 Betrieb
Die Tasten RESUME (24) und SET MARK (5) dürfen bei einer MP3 CD nicht verwendet
werden. Werden diese Tasten gedrückt, kann dies zu Fehlfunktionen führen. Das Gerät
kann teilweise nicht mehr bedient werden. Ein Reset kann danach nur durch Ein- und
Ausschalten des POWER Schalter (16) erfolgen.
• Tasten und Funktionen die im "CD Betrieb" und im "MP3 Betrieb" identisch oder ähnlich sind, werden in diesem Abschnitt nicht mehr beschrieben.
• Sollte eine Tasteneingabe erfolgen, die zur Zeit oder generell keine Funktion bei der eingelegten
MP3 CD hat, so erscheint am Bildschirm eine Hand.
• Der MP3 Betrieb lässt sich am besten über den angeschlossenen Bildschirm verfolgen.
• Die Anzeige der Titelnummer im Display (35) erfolgt zweistellig (1 – 99). Beim Abspielen des Titels
122, erscheint im Display 22.
Die Wiedergabe des ersten Titels beginnt automatisch, nachdem die MP3 CD eingelesen wurde. Der wiedergegebene Titel wird am angeschlossenen TV-Gerät mit einem Pfeil markiert. Pro Seite (PAGE) können 12
Titel angezeigt werden.
Im Stopmodus erscheinen die ersten 12 Titel bzw. die Verzeichnisstruktur (sofern vorhanden) der MP3 CD
am TV-Gerät. Mittels der beiden Suchlauftasten (10) kann der gewünschte Titel bzw. das gewünschte Verzeichnis ausgewählt werden. Mit der PLAY/PAUSE Taste (23) wird danach die Wiedergabe gestartet.

Mode CD
Mise en place d’un CD
1.Allumez l’appareil en appuyant sur l’interrupteur POWER (16).
2.Appuyez la touche EJECT (1), le tiroir de chargement des CDs s’ouvre.
3.Insérez un CD la face écrite sur le haut dans le tiroir de chargement.
4.Appuyez sur la touche EJECT (1). Le tiroir de chargement des CDs se referme.
5.Une fois la lecture de reconnaissance du CD terminée, la reproduction du CD est démarrée automatiquement. Si l’appareil était en mode Stop, appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour démarrer la lecture.

Interrompre la lecture
1.Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23 pour interrompre brièvement la lecture du CD. L’appareil active
la fonction PAUSE.
2.Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour interrompre complètement la lecture. Appuyez à nouveau
sur cette touche pour redémarrer la lecture.
3.Appuyez sur la touche STOP (29), pour interrompre complètement la lecture.
Sélectionner un titre
1.Appuyez pendant la lecture du CD sur la touche de saut (d’un titre à l’autre) I (12), pour sélectionner
le titre suivant.
2.Appuyez pendant la lecture du CD sur la touche de saut (d’un titre à l’autre) I (12), pour sélectionner
le titre d’après.
Clavier numérique
Il est possible de sélectionner un titre déterminé directement par le clavier numérique. Pour choisir un titre
ayant un numéro à deux ou trois chiffres, par ex. 42, il faut d’abord appuyer plusieurs fois sur la touche +10,
"SELECT: 4- " apparaît sur l’écran du téléviseur connecté. Il faut ensuite rapidement appuyer sur la touche
2. "SELECT: 42" apparaît brièvement sur l’écran du téléviseur et la lecture du titre 42 démarre.
Sélectionner un passage d’un titre
Au moyen des touches de recherche (10), il est possible de démarrer une avance ou un recul rapide pendant la lecture d’un titre. Vous pouvez même en augmenter la vitesse en appuyant plusieurs fois de suite.
Une indication correspondante apparaît sur l’écran.
Quand la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) est appuyée ensuite, ou que le début/la fin d’un titre est atteint, la lecture reprend à vitesse normale.
Fonction SHUFFLE (lecture aléatoire)
1.Appuyez sur la touche STOP (29) pour stopper la lecture du CD.
2.Appuyez sur la touche SHUFFLE (13), l’indication "SHUFFLE" apparaît sur le display.
3.Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour démarrer la lecture aléatoire. Les titres du CD sont joués
dans un ordre aléatoire.
4.Appuyez sur la touche SHUFFLE (13) en mode Stop pour désactiver la lecture aléatoire.
☞ Cette fonction SHUFFLE ne peut être activée ou désactivée qu’en mode Stop.
Programmation de l’ordre de lecture des titres du CD
1.Appuyez sur la touche STOP (29) pour stopper la lecture du CD.
2.Appuyez sur la touche PROG (6). L’indication "MEMORY" apparaît sur le display.
3.Il est maintenant possible de programmer les titres souhaités au moyen du clavier numérique. En
appuyant sur la touche ERASE (4), il est possible d’effacer la dernière entrée.
4.Appuyez sur la touche PLAY/PAUSE (23) pour démarrer la lecture.
5.Appuyez sur la touche STOP (10) pour stopper la lecture des titres dans l’ordre programmé.
6.Pour effacer l’ordre programmé, appuyez en mode stop deux fois sur la touche PROG (6).
7.L’ordre programmé est automatiquement effacé par l’ouverture du tiroir de chargement des CD.

SET MARK Funktion
Mit dieser Funktion können Sie eine Stelle der eingelegten Video CD markieren. Sie können die gespeicherte Stelle mit der RESUME Taste aufrufen. Die SET MARK Funktion ist nur während der Wiedergabe aktiv.
1.Drücken Sie die SET MARK Taste (5) während der Wiedergabe an der gewünschten Stelle. Im Bildschirm
erscheint kurz die Anzeige "BOOKMARK".
2.Drücken Sie die RESUME Taste (29). Die Wiedergabe beginnt wieder an der gespeicherten Stelle.
GOTO Funktion
Durch Drücken der GOTO Taste können Sie einen gewünschten Zeitpunkt direkt anwählen.
Drücken Sie die GOTO Taste (9). Sie können nun eine bestimmte Zeit mittels des Zahlenfeldes (3) direkt
eingeben. Nachdem die letzte Ziffer eingegeben wurde, startet die Wiedergabe zum gewählten Zeitpunkt.

Mise en place de la chaîne
MODE Taste
Drücken Sie im Stopmodus die MODE Taste (7). Am Bildschirm stehen 4 Menüpunkte zur Auswahl, die
über das Zahlenfeld angewählt werden können:

eingeblendet. Drücken Sie kurz nach dem Start der Funktion, die Titelsprungtaste (12), um die
Titel/Kapitel ab 10 kurz anzuspielen. Die Anwahl der Titel/Kapitel erfolgt danach über das Zahlenfeld (3).
• TRACK: Drücken Sie kurz nach dem Start der TRACK Funktion die Titelsprungtasten (12) um den
gewünschten Titel/Kapitel auszuwählen Der Titel/Kapitel wird in 9 Sequenzen unterteilt. Die 9 Sequenzen
werden kurz angespielt und danach am Bildschirm eingeblendet. Die Anwahl der Sequenzen erfolgt über
die Zehnertastatur (3).
• EXIT: Die MODE Funktion wird über den EXIT Menüpunkt verlassen.

PBC Taste
Mit der PBC Taste (25) kann die Menüfunktion einer Video CD (nur bei Version 2.0 vorhanden) aktiviert bzw.
deaktiviert werden. PBC = Playback Control.
• PBC ON: Nach jedem Kapitel wird die Wiedergabe der CD unterbrochen. Das Menü wird im Bildschirm
eingeblendet. Die Menüseiten können mit den Titelsprungtasten (12) gewechselt werden.
• PBC OFF: Das Menü der Video CD ist abgeschaltet. Die Titel/Kapitel werden ohne Unterbrechung abgespielt.
RETURN Taste
Mit der RETURN Taste (20) können die Funktionen Suchlauf, STEP (Einzelbild) und SLOW (Zeitlupe) deaktiviert werden.
Auswahl der Fernsehnorm
Drücken der Taste schaltet den Videoausgang des Gerätes auf PAL- bzw. auf NTSC-Norm um. Stellen Sie
die Norm entsprechend auf Ihren Fernseher ein (siehe Anleitung des Fernsehers). Die deutsche Farbfernsehnorm ist PAL.
Vu la diversité des laques et vernis utilisés pour la surface des meubles, il n’est pas exclu
que les pieds de l’appareil, par une réaction chimique, laissent des traces visibles sur la
surface du meuble où il est posé. Placez quelque chose d’approprié sous les pieds pour
protéger vos meubles précieux.
Ne perforez pas le boîtier ni n’y vissez pas de vis supplémentaires pour fixer l’appareil,
l’appareil en serait endommagé.
Branchement
Vérifiez avant le branchement ou avant d’effectuer toute modification du branchement
que l’appareil n’est pas sous tension. Débranchez la fiche de la prise de courant.
Branchement au secteur :
• Branchez la fiche du cordon d’alimentation (22) dans une prise de courant habituelle de 230V AC / 50 Hz
OSD Taste
Drücken Sie die OSD Taste (8) während der Wiedergabe der Video CD. Am Bildschirm wird die aktuelle
Titelnummer, die Gesamttitelanzahl und die abgespielte Zeit des aktuellen Titels angezeigt. Durch weiteres
Drücken der OSD Taste (8) wird die Restspielzeit des Titels oder die Gesamtrestspielzeit der Video CD am
Bildschirm eingeblendet. Durch nochmaliges Drücken erlischt die Anzeige.
Kopfhörerbetrieb
Stecken Sie einen Kopfhörer mit einem 6,3mm Stereoklinkenstecker in die Kopfhörerbuchse (32). Die
Lautstärke des Kopfhörers lässt sich über den Kopfhörerregler (33) einstellen. Drehen des Reglers nach
rechts erhöht (+), bzw. Drehen nach links verringert (-) die Lautstärke.
☞ Drehen Sie vor jedem Einstecken des Kopfhörers die Lautstärke auf Minimum zurück.

Sorties Cinch audio et Cinch vidéo :
Ce lecteur de disque possède deux sorties audio et vidéo. Il est ainsi possible de connecter cet appareil à
la fois à une chaîne Hi-fi et à un téléviseur.
• Téléviseur :
Connectez les sorties audio (L1 gauche/R1droit) et vidéo (1) à votre téléviseur. Utilisez à cet effet le câble
AV Cinch joint.

Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei, öffnen Sie es deshalb niemals. Durch Öffnen des Gerätes erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
Äußerlich sollte das Gerät nur mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch oder Pinsel gereinigt werden. Verwenden
Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder chemische Lösungen, da dadurch das Gehäuse angegriffen oder die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden könnte.
Tipps zur Handhabung von CDs:
• Fassen Sie die CD nur an den Kanten an. Sie vermeiden somit Fingerabdrücke
und Verunreinigungen auf der Oberfläche.
• Fassen Sie Ihre CDs nur mit sauberen Händen an.
• Sollte eine CD trotzdem einmal verschmutzt sein, wischen Sie diese mit einem
weichen, fusselfreien Tuch von der Mitte nach außen hin ab. Vermeiden Sie
kreisende Bewegungen beim Reinigungsvorgang unbedingt. Verwenden Sie
keine Lösungsmittel.
• Bei hartnäckigen Verschmutzungen verwenden Sie bitte einen handelsüblichen
CD-Reiniger (keinen Schallplattenreiniger) und beachten Sie dessen Bedienungsanweisungen.
• Beschriften Sie Ihre CDs nicht und bringen Sie auch keine Aufkleber o.ä. an.
• Bewahren Sie Ihre CDs nach dem Abspielen in den mitgelieferten CD-Hüllen auf.
• Vermeiden Sie bei der Lagerung von CDs direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, Hitze und Feuchtigkeit.
Ne laissez pas traîner le matériel d’emballage, les feuilles ou poches plastiques, les morceaux de polystyrène expansé etc. Ils pourraient devenir des jouets dangereux pour les enfants.
Faites attention en mettant l’appareil en place à ne pas endommager les fils électriques en les coinçant ou

Débranchez toujours l’appareil de la prise de courant

Ne regardez jamais le rayon laser. Le rayon laser peut blesser les yeux.

Le rayon laser est protégé par un disjoncteur et ne fonctionne que quand les conditions de fonctionnement
sont correctes. Ne jamais court-circuiter le disjoncteur.

Do not leave packing material unattended. Plastic foils or bags, polystyrene parts, etc. may become dangerous playing material for children.
• Do not mark your CDs and do not attach labels or similar.
• After playing keep your CDs in their provided CD covers.
• Avoid storing the CDs in direct sun light, heat and humidity.
When setting up the device, make sure not to crush the mains power cord or to damage it with sharp edges.
Always remove the mains plug from the socket outlet
- before cleaning the device
- during thunderstorms
- if you are not using the device for a prolonged period of time
Ensure sufficient ventilation of the device. Do not cover the ventilation openings.
This product is equipped with a class 1 laser. Never open the device. Adjustment and maintenance works
may only be carried out by a trained specialist who is familiar with the respective dangers. Improperly carried out adjustments can lead to dangerous laser irradiation.
Laser Class 1
In the CD compartment of the device is a laser warning sign. The device is
equipped with a class 1 laser.
Never look into a laser beam. Laser irradiation can lead to eye injuries. Do
not remove the warning signs from the device.
Disposal
When the device can no longer be used dispose of it in accordance with current legal regulations.
Environmental note!
The end user is under legal obligation to take back all used batteries and rechargeable
batteries (from round cell batteries to lead rechargeable batteries), to dispose of them
via domestic waste is not permitted.
You can return used batteries and rechargeable batteries free of charge, to supermarkets, dealer's shops or local collection centres where special collection boxes are set up
for this purpose.
You should also contribute to environmental protection.
The laser is controlled via a safety key and is only activated during proper operation.
Never bypass the safety key.
When in doubt about how to connect it correctly or should there be questions that are
not replied to in these operating instructions contact our Technical Advisory Service or
another expert. Consult an expert when in doubt about the way of operation or the safety
of the product.

For receiving infrared signals from the remote

GOTO Function
By pressing the GOTO button you can directly select a desired time.
Press GOTO button (9). Now you can enter a certain time with the Numerical field (3). After entering the
last digit, playback will start at the selected time.

Placement of Device
When selecting a set-up place, consider the room conditions e.g., the location of the next electrical outlet.
When choosing a location, make sure that the device is not exposed to direct sunlight, vibration, dust, hot
and cold temperatures or dampness. Furthermore, no powerful transformers or motors must be set up in
the vicinity of the device.
Only place the device onto a stable, horizontal surface. Sufficient air circulation for the
unit has to be ensured, to lead away arising head. Do not cover the ventilation slits of the
unit. Failure to observe this note could cause damage to the device. Only operate the
device correctly set up, otherwise the CD player will not work properly.
Failing to observe these notes can lead to damage on the inserted CD and/or the CD
player.
In view of the variety of different varnishes and polishes on furniture, it is possible that
the feet of the device leave visible marks on the furniture due to a chemical reaction.
This is why the device should not be put on valuable furniture surfaces without suitable
protection.
Do not drill or screw additional screws into the system-unit’s cover to fasten the device,
since this will damage the device.
Connection
Make sure that the device is voltage-free before connecting it or before changing the
connection. Pull the mains plug from the socket.
Power supply:
• Put the mains plug of the power cord into a 230V AC / 50 Hz household mains socket.
MODE Button
Press the MODE button (7) during stop mode. There are 4 menu items to choose from on the monitor
which can be selected via the numerical field:
• INTRO: all tracks/chapters on a CD are played for approx. 10 seconds.
• DISC: the first 9 tracks/chapters on a CD are briefly played and the starting scenes displayed on the monitor. Press function Track skip key (12) just after starting, to briefly play the tracks/chapter from 10
onwards. Then the selection of tracks/chapters is carried out via the Numerical Field (3).
• TRACK: just after the TRACK function press the Track skip key (12) to select the desired track/chapter.
The track/chapter is subdivided into 9 sequences. The 9 sequences are briefly played and then displayed
on the monitor. The selection of sequences is carried out via the Decimal Keyboard (3).
• EXIT: the MODE function is exited via the menu item EXIT.
PBC Button
With the PBC button (25) the menu function of a video CD (only in Version 2.0) can be enabled or disabled.
PBC = playback control.
• PBC ON: after each chapter the playback of the CD is interrupted. The menu will appear on the monitor.
The menu pages can be changed with the Track skip key (12).
• PBC OFF: the menu of the video CD is switched off. The tracks/chapters are played without interruption.
RETURN Button
With the RETURN button (20) the functions search run, STEP (still-frame) and SLOW (slow motion) can be
disabled.
Selecting the Television Standard
Pressing this button will switch the video output of the unit to PAL or to NTSC standard. Set the standard
on your television accordingly (see operating manual of television). The German colour television standard
is PAL.
OSD Button
Press the OSD button (8) during playback of the video CD. The present track number, the total number of
tracks and the played time of the present track will be shown on the monitor. By pressing the OSD button
(8) again, the remaining playing time of the track or the entire remaining playing time of the video CD is displayed on the monitor. By pressing again the display disappears.
Headphone Operation
Put headphone with a 6.3mm stereo jack connector into the Headphone jack (32). The volume of the headphone can be set via the Headphone control (33). Turning the control right (+) increases the volume or
turning it left (-) decreases the volume.
☞ Please always set the volume back to Minimum before plugging in the headphone.
Suitable CD format
Cinch Audio and Cinch Video Outputs:
The CD player has two audio and video outputs. This is why it can be simultaneously connected to a hi-fi
system and to the TV.
• TV:
Connect the audio (L1/R1) and the video output (1) to your TV. Use the enclosed AV cinch cable for connecting.

CD Operation
Inserting a CD
1.Switch on the device by pressing the POWER button (16).
2.Press EJECT button (1), the CD compartment opens.
3.Insert the CD into the drawer with the labelled side upward.
4.Press EJECT button (1). The CD compartment closes.
5.After the CD has been read, playback of the CD will start automatically. If the unit is in mode stop, start
playback with the PLAY/PAUSE button (23).

Interrupting playback
1.Press PLAY/PAUSE button (23), if you want to briefly interrupt CD playback.
The unit will switch to PAUSE function.
2.Press PLAY/PAUSE button (23) again, to continue playback.
3.Press STOP button (29), to completely interrupt playback.
Selecting a Track
1.Press track skip key during CD playback and I (12), to select the next track.
2.Press track skip key during CD playback and I (12), to jump to the beginning of the previous track.
Decimal Keyboard
With the decimal keyboard a track can directly be selected. To select a two-digit or three-digit track e.g., 42,
button +10 needs to be pressed repeatedly. "SELECT: 4" will appear on the connected TV. Then you have
to quickly press button 2. "SELECT: 42" will appear briefly on TV.
Now track 42 will be played.
Selecting a Passage in a Track
With Search Run button (10) you can start fast reversing or forwarding during playback. By repeatedly
pressing it, the speed can be increased. A corresponding display will appear on the monitor.
If the PLAY/PAUSE button (23) is pressed or the end/beginning of a music track is reached, the track will
be played at normal speed again.
SHUFFLE Function (Random playback)
1.Press STOP button (29) to stop CD playback.
2.Press SHUFFLE button (13), "SHUFFLE" will appear on the display.
3.Press PLAY/PAUSE button (23) to start random playback. The tracks on CD will be played at random.
4.Press SHUFFLE button (13) in stop mode to disable random playback.
☞ The SHUFFLE function can only be enabled or disabled in the stop mode.
Volume Control
The CD-player has its own volume control which can be set with VOLUME button (14). To switch the mute
switch on or off press MUTE button (15).
SURROUND Sound Setting
Press SURROUND button (19), to select the different sound settings. Every time the unit is switched on it
will automatically be set back to its basic setting.
Playback Speed
: Pressing this button slows down playback speed.
: Pressing this button re-sets playback speed to its normal speed
: Pressing this button increases playback speed.
VOCAL Function
By pressing the VOCAL button (26) several different audio playback types (mono, stereo, etc.) can be set
on the output. The type of playback is briefly displayed on the TV-set.
MP3 Operation
The buttons RESUME (24) and SET MARK (5) must not be used with a MP3 CD. If these
buttons are pressed, this can lead to malfunction. The unit will partly not be operated.
Reset can only be carried out by pressing the POWER switch (16) on and off.
• Buttons and functions which are identical or similar in "CD operation" and in "MP3 operation" will
not be described again in this chapter
• If inputs are carried out with buttons which do not have any function or generally have no function
when an audio, MP3 is inserted, then a hand will appear on the connected monitor.
• MP3 operation can be best followed via a connected monitor.
• The display of the track number is in two-digits (1 – 99). When playing track 122, 22 will appear on
the display (35).
Programming CD Track Sequence
1.Press STOP button (29) to stop CD playback
2.Press PROG button (6), "MEMORY" will appear on the display.
3.Via the decimal keyboard the desired tracks can be programmed in succession. By pressing the ERASE
button (4) the respective last entry can be deleted.
4.Press PLAY/PAUSE button (23) to start playback.
5.Press STOP button (10) to stop playback of sequence of tracks.
6.To delete the programmed sequence of tracks, press the PROG button (6) twice in stop mode.
7.The programmed sequence of tracks will automatically be deleted when opening the CD compartment.
In stop mode the first 12 tracks on the MP3 CD or the directory structure (as far as existing) will appear on
the TV. With the two Search Run buttons (10) the desired track or the desired directory can be selected.
With the PLAY/PAUSE button (23) playback gets started.
REPEAT (Track repeat) Function
1.Press REPEAT button (17) during running playback once, "REPEAT 1" will appear on the display. The
currently played track will be repeated until the REPEAT function will be interrupted.
Press OSD button (8). The present track, the total number of tracks and the played time of the present track
is displayed on TV. The display can be blanked out be pressing this button again. The TIME button (11) has
no function during MP3 operation.

Playback of the first track will start automatically, after the MP3 CD has been read. The played track will be
marked with an arrow on the connected TV. Per page (PAGE) 12 tracks can be shown.

Das Gerät dient
• zur Wiedergabe von Audio-, MP3- und Video-CDs
Eine Verwendung ist nur in geschlossenen Räumen, nicht im Freien erlaubt. Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit,
z.B. im Badezimmer u.ä. ist unbedingt zu vermeiden.
Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben, führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes, darüber hinaus
ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand, elektrischer Schlag etc. verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut und das Gehäuse nicht geöffnet werden!
