Une des techniques de peinture les plus simples.
Le gel chiffonné est une base de finition incolore, idéale pour la réalisation de patines murale, prête à être teintée
avec des pigments. Il peut être utilisé sur tous les supports peints avec une peinture acrylique.
Dosage :
Selon l’intensité de couleur et l’effet souhaité, utiliser entre 5 et 20% de pigments par rapport au poids de la cire.
Préparation :
Mettre le pigment (ocre ou oxyde) dans un récipient, ajouter un peu d’eau et mélanger jusqu'à obtenir une pâte
homogène.
Incorporer ce mélange au gel chiffonné en remuant bien.
Application :
Appliquer le gel chiffonné sur un support sec, préalablement peint avec une peinture blanche ou claire pour un effet
de transparence, mat ou satinée.
L’effet décoratif sera très varié selon l’outil utilisé, chiffon, éponge, spalter, gant à peindre, brosse etc…
Ce gel peut-être également utilisé pour la réalisation de patines sur bois, pochoirs, frises murales etc….
Rendement :
1 l de gel pour 10 m2 environ.

One of the easiest way of painting your wall, furniture, etc
The "gel chiffoné" is a transparent fixer ready to be tinted with the ochres or pigments of your choice. Its very simple
utilisation is perfect to carry out your wall patinas. This gel can also be used to create your mural decorations (with a
stencil for example), to renovate the old furnitures by giving a white lead effect, ... It can be used on all supports
(walls, furnitures, diverse woodworks,...) if they has been painted with an acrylic paint -acrylic resin or white acrylic
paint-.
Volume
Accoding to the pigment used and the colour intensity you want to obtain you will need between 5% and 20% of
pigment in relation to the acrylic gel weight. The quantity of natural pigments required is superior to the quantity of
oxide and organic pigments.
Your coloured acrylic gel :
1- Mix the pigments with a little quantity of water to obtain an homogenous substance.
2- Incorporate this substance in the "gel chiffoné". Do not hesitate to stir in the same time to get the best possible
result.
Application :
Your preparation is ready to be used on a prepared support (ideally painted in white with an acrylic paint). The usage
of a painting glove is recommanded (consult the section "others" for more information).
Consumption : 1L for 107 to 160 sq ft (10 à 15m²)
