Conference de Madrid do 1'Union pour la Protection do la
Propribte Industrielle, concernant la dotation du Bureau International.

de In Conference de Madrid du 15 :Aril, 1891, est entre en vigneur
et recevra son application A partir do l'annee 1898.

I HAVE the honour to inform von, by order of the Federal
Council, that, by a note bearing date the Cth (18th) October last,

the Servian Minister for Foreign Affairs has informed the Council
of the acceptance by his Government of Protocol III of the
%1adrid Conference of Idle Union for the Protection of industrial
Property , respecting the endowment of the International Office.
Since the Dominican Republic must be considered as acceding
in pursuance of the comm unications made by the Federal Co u ncil
to its Government , it follows , that all the States of the Union
have now accepted the Protocol in question . I am therefore
instructed to inform your Lordship that Protocol III of the M adrid
Conference of the 15th April. 1891 , is now in force , and will he
of fill effect from the year 1898.
While begging your Lordship to take note, of the above, I.
