Den DS-2100 trifft man nicht nur in außergewöhnlichen
Büros an. Auch in großen Filmen spielt er schon mal
eine Rolle. Weil er nicht zu verwechseln ist, Eigensinn
und Präsenz hat. Jetzt haben wir „Skeleton“ überarbeitet. Geblieben ist dabei naturgemäß seine leichte,
namensgebende Konstruktion, die das menschliche
Rückgrat als Vorbild hat: Die einzelnen Lamellen aus
feinstem de Sede Leder passen sich dem Körper individuell an und sorgen so für höchsten Komfort.
Überarbeitet wurden das Gestell und die Kopfstütze.
Beide Veränderungen nehmen die leichte Grundkonstruktion des Stuhls nun noch sichtbarer auf. Der
Gesamteindruck wirkt harmonischer, noch einmal
stimmiger. Ohne dass dabei etwas vom eigentlichen
Grundentwurf, von der Idee des Stuhls verloren geht.
Der DS-2100 ist als drehbarer Besucherstuhl mit niedrigem Rücken und als Chefsessel mit hohem Rücken,
Kopfstütze, Wipp-Mechanik, Höhenverstellung und
Rollen verfügbar. Ganz neu ist der Besucherstuhl mit
4-Stern-Fuss. Er komplettiert die etwas andere Idee
DS-2100.
It’s not just in out-of-the-ordinary offices that you come
across the DS-2100; it has also played a role in major
films. Because it is utterly unmistakeable, exudes a
certain eccentricity and enjoys a truly unique presence.
We have now reworked the “Skeleton”. What remains,
of course, is the light construction based on the shape
of the human backbone which gives the model its
name: the separate slats upholstered in the finest de
Sede leather adapt individually to the body to provide
the ultimate in seating comfort. Modifications have
been made to the frame and the headrest, both of
which now reflect more obviously the lightness of the
chair’s basic construction. The overall impression is
now more harmonious and has even greater coherence, without any of the basic idea behind the chair’s
original concept being lost. The DS-2100 is available as
a swivel visitor’s chair and an executive office version
with high back, headrest, tilt mechanism, height adjustment and castors. The visitor’s chair with a 4-star
base is totally new and ideally rounds off the intriguingly
different DS-2100 idea.

On ne rencontre pas le DS-2100 que dans les bureaux prestigieux. Il joue aussi dans de grands films.
Parce qu’il est unique, qu’il a de la personnalité, de la
présence. Nous venons de retravailler notre « Skeleton
». Nous avons conservé la structure naturelle, toute
en légèreté, à laquelle il doit son nom et qui a pour
modèle la colonne vertébrale humaine. Les lamelles,
réalisées dans le cuir de Sede le plus fin, s’adaptent à
la forme du corps et assurent un confort optimal.
C’est le cadre et l’appui-tête qui ont changé. Avec ces
deux modifications, la légèreté de la structure de base
du fauteuil est encore plus évidente. L’impression générale est plus harmonieuse, encore plus cohérente.
Sans rien sacrifier au concept initial, à l’idée originale
du fauteuil. Le DS-2100 existe en version visiteur
pivotante avec dossier court et en version directeur
avec dossier haut, appui-tête, mécanisme basculant
synchronisé, réglage en hauteur et roulettes. Une
nouveauté : le modèle visiteur avec pied en étoile à 4
branches, qui complète cette gamme toute particulière qu’est la DS-2100.
De DS-2100 treft men niet alleen in bijzondere kantoren aan. Ook in grote films speelt hij wel eens een
rol, omdat hij uniek, eigenzinnig en aanwezig is. Wij
hebben “Skeleton” opnieuw vormgegeven. Daarbij
is natuurlijk zijn lichte, naamgevende constructie,
die de menselijke ruggengraat als voorbeeld heeft,
onveranderd gebleven. De afzonderlijke lamellen van
het fijnste de Sede leer passen zich individueel aan
het lichaam aan en zorgen zo voor een maximum aan
comfort. Het frame en de hoofdsteunen zijn opnieuw
vormgegeven. Beide veranderingen tonen een nog
betere weergave van de lichte basisconstructie van de
stoel. Het totaalbeeld is harmonischer en vooral completer. En dit zonder dat daarbij iets van het eigenlijke
basisontwerp, van het concept van de stoel, verloren
gaat. De DS-2100 is niet alleen verkrijgbaar als draaibare bezoekersstoel met een lage rug, maar ook als
directiefauteuil met hoge rug, hoofdsteun, neigmechaniek, hoogteverstelbaarheid en wielen. Geheel nieuw is
de bezoekersstoel met 4-sterren-voet. Een aanvulling
op het iets andere concept DS-2100.
