ACCIDENT DE MOTOCROSS
MOTOCROSS ACCIDENT
Un jeune homme de 25 ans de Gatineau fut
blessé sérieusement au bas du corps
dimanche dernier quand celui-ci a perdu la
maîtrise de son engin sur le chemin du Lac
Clair, à Val-des-Monts
Last Sunday, a 25 year old Gatineau man
suffered serious injuries to the lower part of
his body when he lost control of his vehicle on
Du Lac Clair Road, in Val-des-Monts.
Lors de l’intervention policière, il fut possible
de constater plusieurs infractions au Code de
la Sécurité routière, dont le fait que la moto
était interdite de circuler, que le propriétaire
n’avait pas d’assurance et que le conducteur
circulait sur la voie publique. Bref, plusieurs
constats d’infraction seront remis, et ce, pour
plusieurs centaines de dollars d’amendes.
At the time of the police intervention, it was
established that there were several infractions
to the Highway Safety Code, including that
the bike was prohibited from circulating, that
the owner did not have any insurance and
that the driver was travelling on a public
roadway. Several infractions will be issued,
resulting in several hundred dollars in fines.
En cette période estivale, nous constatons
une augmentation des appels concernant
l’utilisation inadéquate des véhicules horsroute, et ce, principalement sur la voie
publique.
Nous tenons à rappeler aux
utilisateurs que cette pratique est strictement
interdite, à moins qu’il ne s’agisse d’un
chemin privé.
During summer months, we notice an
increase in calls related to improper use of
off-road vehicles, mainly on public roadways.
We want to remind users that this practice is
strictly prohibited, unless it is a private road.
