Description
PASSAGE has designed L52 aluminium angle profile for TBS non-slip adhesive tape x 50mm width. This
profile ensures safe footsteps while giving high visual and tactile contrast on all stair nosings in new and old
buildings alike.

Reminder of stair safety legislation of 30th November 2007 (Act R.111-19-2, article 7-1), amending the directive of
1st August, 2006 (France):
Stairs must be totally safe for persons with impaired vision.
The stair nosing must contrast visually with the rest of the stairs, be non-slippery, and must not overhang
excessively with respect to the risers.
Characteristics
The profiles are not sold pre-drilled.
Material : 6060t5 anodised aluminium x 20 microns thickness, total thickness 4 mm, height 30mm.

Recommendation : Drill the section using a 4.5mm HSS drill bit. Fit with stainless steel countersunk screws
3.5mm diameter x length 20–25mm at 20cm spacings.
